Description
Summary:As our society faces different crises, transition is necessary as a new paradigm to address the challenges rising through societal and environmental changes. Through the hypothesis that the ecological transition imperative is a possible catalyst for the rise of new ways to “work-together” and within the framework of the popsu Territoires program, we are studying the case of Volonne, engaged since 2014 in a multifaceted transition dynamic. As part of the Ecodistrict action, the village center revitalization project, generated a swarm of citizen initiatives and gave rise to a transitional socio-ecological process at the junction between institutional territories and citizen engagement.
