Synthese von Fulvenen über Acetoxychloralkane
A series of fulvenes is prepared by reaction of sodium cyclopentadienide with acetoxychloromethanes, followed by elimination of acetic acid with triethylamine. The reaction is carried out at low temperatures and under water-free conditions. The purification of the reaction products is simple.
