This investigation is the primary step. Therefore in this research we sought to propose a conceptual model to evaluate the organizational readiness for establishing such alignment. In this regard firstly we conduct a thorough literature review to study previous models and frameworks related to such subjects. After that the Luftman’s model is chose as a core and basic model till we used benchmarking to revise it with compare to the other frameworks and models. Finally the proposed model was used in a case study to evaluate the organizational readiness for establishing IT-business alignment.
