Description
Summary:Abstract The central objective of this paper is to study some rational-type fixed point results in the setting of b-metric spaces. Some definitions and concepts from the existing literature have been recalled in this direction. Utilizing the idea of Wardowski (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2012:94, 2012), novel fixed-point results are demonstrated via the iteration technique. Illustrative examples are presented to reinforce the authenticity and validity of the established results. Finally, the findings are employed to ensure the stability of the economic growth model and production-consumption equilibrium.
