Description
Summary:Acoustic emission testing is a non-destructive testing method that can evaluate the corrosion status and structural integrity of storage tanks in real time. This paper introduces the principle of acoustic emission detection, sensor installation, system calibration and data acquisition, focuses on the application of acoustic emission technology in the detection of tank bottom corrosion and leakage, and compares the advantages and disadvantages of other detection technologies, and proposes an intelligent unattended acoustic emission tank monitoring system based on the Internet of Things. Through the integration of intelligent acoustic wave (acoustic emission) collector, networking communication, cloud platform/server and customer terminal, the long-term online monitoring of storage tanks is realized, the detection efficiency and accuracy are improved, and the manual intervention and maintenance costs are reduced.
