| description | The development of computer systems is associated with a fundamental change
in society; it is characterized with a transition from the production of material goods

subject is the German computer terminology; the study object is the emotionalexpressive meaning component of the terms. The article relevance is to specify
the modern terminology semantic processes. Studying computer terminology
is extremely important, as a level of mutual understanding and cooperation depends
on its systematization, unification and standardization in all spheres of the world
community. The study scientific novelty is in revealing metaphorization problems
as they are rather complex, spontaneous and subjective. The purpose of the article
is to examine and describe the emotional-expressive component of terminological
meaning in German computer terminology, therefore, the main research envelops
in computer terminology have been studied, a sample of German computer terms
has been analyzed, and semantic features of the terms have been determined.
The findings can be used in the German language teaching, in the development of
training aids and dictionaries, in the work of terminology systematization, unification
and standardization |
