Description
Summary:Successful academic practices promote student learning in a precise, efficient, and didactic manner. In this sense, the purpose of this research was to identify those academic practices considered successful by faculty and students at universities in the department of Norte de Santander, Colombia, that offer online programs in administrative sciences, as well as to understand the collective perceptions surrounding them. The research followed a qualitative grounded theory approach, employing document review, semi-structured interviews, and focus groups as data collection techniques. The results were analyzed using Atlas ti software, where the following categories emerged: knowledge management, entrepreneurship, university-business relationships, innovation in academic practices, and organizational learning in educational settings. The results showed a varied number of practices classified as successful. While they represent an approach to the reality of work, the implementation of new technologies, or interventions to solve business situations, they require planning and execution based on an inclusive curriculum built with the support of the company, the community, and government agencies, as well as advanced regional research and development processes.
