<正> 北美海牛（Trichechus manatus）是世界珍稀动物。自1976年7月以来,北京动物园饲养了一对来自墨西哥的北美海牛。在这八年多的时间里,这对海牛在北纬40度的温带地区,不仅生长良好,而且已先后两次繁殖,其中一仔已成活。现将关于这对海牛饲养管理的情况予以报道。为了养好海牛,北京动物园于1976年初建成一座海兽馆。馆内有大展池、小展池和隔离池。这样,为海牛提供了生活场所,水...
