Description
Summary:By making it possible to identify and typify certain peri-urban places which reveal the repressed historical and economic planning process in cities, the notion of "critical landscape" also reveals our uninhibited false relationship with modernity. I will use the observations made on a site located in the north-western periphery of Bordeaux in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles in Gironde. This municipality is characterised by its zoning development (suburban areas, industrial parks, natural wastelands, road infractructures, etc.) conducive to the identification and characterisation of landscapes of a critical nature. I will only mention one of them, however, an area located at the level of interchange no 9 of the ring road.
