    Published 2019-08-01
“…In order to solve the problem that the load of big data stream computing platform is increasing with fluctuation while the cluster was not able to rescale efficiently, the Flow-network based auto rescale strategy for Flink was proposed.Firstly, the flow-network model was set up and the capacity of each edge that was calculated by self-learning algorithm.Secondly, the bottleneck of the cluster was acquired by maximum-flow algorithm and the resource rescheduling plan was drawn up.Finally, the resource rescheduling plan was executed and the stateful data was migrated efficiently by the data migration algorithm based on the strategy of data partitioning by bulk and bucket. The experimental results show that the strategy can effectively provide performance promotion in the application with complex stateful data.It improved the throughput of the cluster and reduced the time overhead of the data migration on the premise of satisfying the latency constrain of the application, which means that the strategy promotes the scalability of the cluster efficiently.…”

    Published 2022-12-01
“…ASCON was the most promising algorithm to become an international standard in the 2021 NIST lightweight authenticated encryption call for proposals. The algorithm was designed to achieve the best performance in IoT resource-constrained environments, and there was no hardware IP core implementation based on this algorithm in the open literature.A software-hardware collaborative implementation method of ASCON was proposed, which improved the speed and reduced the memory footprint of ASCON in IoT security authentication applications through hardware means such as S-box optimization, prior calculation and advanced pipeline design. As a comparison, ASCON has been transplanted on the common IoT embedded processor platform. The results showed that the described method was more than 7.9 times faster, while the memory footprint was reduced by at least 90%.The schemes can be used for the design and implementation of IoT security application-specific integrated circuits or SoCs.…”

Hybrid precoding method for mmWave massive MIMO systems based on LFM by Haoyi CHEN, Yifan DING, Ying CHENG

    Published 2019-06-01
“…Analog-digital hybrid precoding is a key technology for millimeter wave massive MIMO systems that reduce hardware costs while balancing system performance. However, the traditional hybrid precoding scheme often needed to find a suitable codebook for precoding, and some codebooks were not easy to obtain or had deviations in actual situations. An analog-digital hybrid precoding method based on latent factor model (LFM) in machine learning without codebook was proposed for this problem. The LFM decomposition and stochastic gradient descent method were used to approximate the designed precoding matrix to the optimal full digital precoding matrix for good performance. The simulation results show that compared with the hybrid precoding design method based on orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm, this method not only does not need a codebook, but also has better performance than the hybrid precoding algorithm based on OMP algorithm, which is closer to optimal full digital precoding method.…”

Beamforming design for energy-constrained full-duplex two-way relaying system by Wei WANG, Liyuan AN, Guoan ZHANG, Shibing ZHANG

    Published 2018-02-01
“…A beamforming design was proposed under simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) protocol.A utility optimization problem was considered aiming to maximize the harvested energy by jointly optimizing the beamforming matrix, the power splitting ratio at the relay and the transmit powers at the sources.Since the formulated joint optimization problem was nonconvex,it was difficult or even intractable to obtain the global optimal solution. To overcome this issue, the objective problem into three subproblems was decoupled which could be solved by the proposed semidefinite relaxation technique and the derived constraints activation solution, respectively. The solution was finally obtained with the proposed convergent iterative algorithm.Simulation results show that the proposed joint optimization scheme achieves the optimal performance.Compared with the traditional half-duplex (HD) algorithm, the proposed algorithm can obtain 2~3 times energy harvesting (EH) efficiency improvement, while the computational complexity increases slightly.…”

DOA estimation based on geometric sequence decomposition and sparse reconstruction by Jin HOU, Xinqiang CHEN

    Published 2023-01-01
“…In order to solve the problem of direction finding of coherent signals for uniform circular array under the condition of underdetermination, a direction of arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm combining geometric sequence decomposition and sparse reconstruction was proposed.Geometric sequence decomposition was used to split coherent groups and estimate the actual direction vector of each coherent group, while sparse reconstruction was used to estimate DOA for each coherent group.Simulation results demonstrate that when the number of elements of the uniform circular array is M, compared with the existing algorithms, the maximum number of sources that can be estimated by the proposed algorithm is M(M-1).And when the number of sources is large, the success rate and accuracy of direction finding are better. In addition, the proposed algorithm can solve the “angle merger” problem, and has advantages in the direction finding tasks with very few snapshots.…”

Channel estimation method of massive MIMO-OFDM system based on adaptive compressed sensing by Yiyang HU, Lina QI

    Published 2021-09-01
“…Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) is a solution for efficiently providing connection services for a variety of machine equipment in the Internet of things (IoT), and efficient connection services require accurate channel estimation.Aimed at the problems of high pilot overhead and poor performance of normalized mean square error (NMSE) estimation in downlink channel estimation of massive MIMO systems, based on the compressed sensing (CS) theory, the common sparsity of the channel space domain was combined while using the feature of lower sparsity of adjacent time slot differential channel impulse response (CIR), which leaded to a significant reduction in pilot overhead. In the reconstruction algorithm, a two-stage differential estimation algorithm, which divided the channel estimation in consecutive time slots with time correlation into two stages, was proposed and the idea of adaptive compressed sensing was combined to achieve fast and accurate CIR estimate. The simulation results show that the proposed two-stage differential channel estimation algorithm not only has a significant improvement in the estimated NMSE performance and data transmission rate compared to the existing CS-based multiple measurement vector (MMV) algorithm, but also show a certain reduction in runtime complexity.…”
