“…Partant de la richesse et de la variété de l’œuvre de traducteur d’Oskar Pastior (1927‑2006), cet article distingue quatre manières de concevoir la traduction, qui sont autant des horizons que des lignes de fuite : a) une approche « traditionnelle », impersonnelle, soumise à l’original (comme les traductions de jeunesse de Pastior, du roumain vers l’allemand) ; b) une approche « co-productive » conduisant à un texte qui est l’œuvre commune du poète traducteur et du poète créateur (33 poèmes avec Pétrarque) ; c) une traduction défi, où la traduction est dépaysement et mise à l’épreuve de la langue (Khlebnikov) ; d) une traduction totalement affranchie, libre et ludique, se présentant tantôt sous la forme des « traductions de surface » (Oberflächenübersetzungen), tantôt comme des « variations » sur la matière phonétique du poème d’origine (o du roher jasmin). …”
