Theory of Stiffness Synthesis by Adding Redundant-actuated Limb on Spatial 6-DOF Parallel Mechanism by Shuangshuang Zhang, Hongtao Yang, Qigeng Liu

    Published 2019-05-01
“…On basis of full degree of freedom parallel mechanism, the design method by adding redundant actuated limbs to realize the end stiffness requirement is analyzed. According to screw theory, the inverse Jacobian matrix of parallel mechanism with limb single drive is analyzed, the mapping relationship matrix from the actuation to the end-effector stiffness is established. …”

A Hybrid Technique Based on the Combination of Multilevel Fast Multipole Algorithm and the Geometrical Theory of Diffraction by María-Jesús Algar, Javier Moreno, Iván González, Lorena Lozano, Felipe Cátedra

    Published 2014-01-01
“…This strategy is based on the combination of the rigorous method multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) and the high frequency technique geometrical theory of diffraction (GTD). Thanks to the use of MLFMA, the source can be discretized into several cubic regions considering each of them as a source point in order to reduce the number of times required to compute the ray tracing when GTD is applied to obtain the scatter field. …”

System Analysis Theory Applied for Development of Microalgae Processes and Photobioreactors in the Frame of Integral Biorefinery Concept by Alexander Dimitrov Kroumov, Maya Margaritova Zaharieva, Hristo Miladinov Najdenski

    Published 2024-12-01
“…Studying sophisticated systems cannot be without special mathematical tools and approaches that combine knowledge from many research areas. The system analysis theory applied in biotechnology with great success can be applied by principles of analogy to microalgae cultivation of cells in CO2 fixation from flue gases in innovative closed photobioreactors (PBRs) where the products of biomass can have performed antimicrobial, anticancer, antiviral and other activities by challenging chemical agents. …”

Finite Element Analysis of Automobile Axle Housing based on Internet-driven Collaborative Design Theory by Zhu Jianliu

    Published 2015-01-01
“…In order to solve the problems of traditional automobile axle housing design and analysis of wide object space distribution, difficult collaborative design and poor interaction performance,a multiple analytic encoded method based on discrete wavelet transform algorithm to the compress axle housing data is used, and then a shared network drive collaborative hybrid system architecture to share and protect the axle housing analyze compressed data is created,a finite element analysis system of network drive cooperative automobile axle housing is combined with JSP.Servlet technology with secondary development of finite element and the numerical computing systems is built.Taking the Dongfeng hercules series axle dump truck as the research object, the model strength, deformation and life characteristics are studied. The results show that the finite element method and technical route based on network collaborative design theory has certain feasibility, which can overcome wide distribution, difficult collaborative design and interaction and poor performance, and the product into production efficiency can be improved and the production cost can be reduced.…”

Entanglement entropy of a color flux tube in (2+1)D Yang-Mills theory by Rocco Amorosso, Sergey Syritsyn, Raju Venugopalan

    Published 2024-12-01
“…Abstract We construct a novel flux tube entanglement entropy (FTE2), defined as the excess entanglement entropy relative to the vacuum of a region of color flux stretching between a heavy quark-anti-quark pair in pure gauge Yang-Mills theory. We show that FTE2 can be expressed in terms of correlators of Polyakov loops, is manifestly gauge-invariant, and therefore free of the ambiguities in computations of the entanglement entropy in gauge theories related to the choice of the center algebra. …”
