Exploring the Factors That Influence Stakeholder Participation in Decision-Making for the Moat System Restoration Project in Tianchang City, China
Published 2023-01-01“…Thus, the primary purpose of this investigation is to shed light on the complex interactions between the various drivers that underpin stakeholder participation in the context of the Moat System Restoration Project (MSRP). The extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) describes the relationships between seven drivers that have positively influenced stakeholder participation behaviors: stakeholder attitude, priority, risk perception, trust in government decisions, motivation, intention, and knowledge. …”

Soft Power: Political Use of A Scientific Concept
Published 2014-04-01“…The article discusses the use and transformation of the American scientific concept "soft power" in official Russian and US foreign policy rhetoric with the methodological help of Habermas' communicative action theory and its adoption to IR by T. Risse. In mainstream IR the proliferation of the "soft power" concept is viewed in terms of ideological competition among states. …”

A Real-Valued Negative Selection Algorithm Based on Grid for Anomaly Detection
Published 2013-01-01“…And before adding the candidate detector into mature detector set, certain methods are adopted to reduce duplication coverage between detectors, which achieves fewer detectors covering the nonself space as much as possible. Theory analysis and experimental results demonstrate that GB-RNSA lowers the number of detectors, time complexity, and false alarm rate.…”

Dynamic and Static Properties of Aqueous NaCl Solutions at 25°C as a Function of NaCl Concentration: A Molecular Dynamics Simulation Study
Published 2020-01-01“…It is found that the MD result for Λm with Ewald sum parameter κ = 0.10 Å−1 gives the closest one to the experimental data and that the obtained radial distribution functions gii(r) with κ = 0.10 Å−1 show a dramatic change with a very deep minimum of gNaCl(r) and, as a result, sharp maxima of gNaNa(r) and gClCl(r) at the distance 9.95 Å, which indicates a characteristic of ionic atmosphere, the basis of the Debye–Hückel theory of ionic solutions. The static and dynamic properties of NaCl (aq) solutions are analyzed in terms of radial distribution functions, hydration numbers, coordination numbers around Na+ and Cl−, residence times of water around Na+ and Cl−, water diffusion, and ion-ion electrostatic energies to explain the behavior of the molar conductivity Λm of NaCl obtained from our MD simulations.…”

Graph signal processing based pilot pattern design and channel estimation for OFDM system
Published 2022-09-01“…Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the key technologies in the physical layer of the internet of things (IoT).Pilot design and channel estimation are key issues in OFDM systems. In view of the problem of performance loss by fixed pilot pattern due to the complexity and variety of IoT communication scenarios, a pilot design and channel estimation scheme based on graph signal processing (GSP) was proposed.Firstly, the time-frequency resource block was modeled as a graph signal, and the channel estimation problem was reformulated into a sampling and reconstruction problem of the graph signal. Then, considering the influence of time-frequency fading, a weighted graph adjacency matrix was designed to construct a graph topology structure based on the time-frequency position. On this basis, the pilot position is selected based on the graph signal sampling theory, a greedy pilot pattern design algorithm based on weighted graph topology was proposed. At the same time, signal reconstruction was performed based on the graph signal reconstruction method, and a channel estimation method based on the graph smoothness constraint was proposed.Compared with the conventional scheme, simulation results show that the proposed method achieves higher channel estimation accuracy in high-speed scenarios of double selective channels, and effectively reduces pilot overhead in low-speed scenarios.…”
