Influence of Radial Deformation Coefficient on Meshing Characteristic of Harmonic Gear Drive by Fan Minglong, Gu Yawen

    Published 2016-01-01
“…The radial deformation coefficient( RDC) is one of the important parameters that influence the elastic deformation of flexspline( FS),the double circular arc tooth profile( DCTP) is selected as the tooth profile of harmonic transmission FS,the influences of RDC on conjugate exist domain( CED),conjugate tooth profile( CTP),the locus of meshing are researched by using MATLAB based on the envelope meshing theory of harmonic drive( HD). The results show that RDC not only has evidently influence on the radial deformation of FS tooth that near the long axis and short axis of wave generator( WG),but also the tangential deformation and normal angle of FS tooth that near the transition segment between the long axis and short axis of WG; with radial deformation coefficient decreases, the CED increases with the RDC increase, while the blank area between the CED is decrease, moreover, the CTP of CED one shifted upward, while the CTP of CED two move shifted downward, the effectively CED and effectively CTP are found. …”

Device-independent Wi-Fi fingerprinting indoor localization model based on domain adaptation by Zenghua ZHAO, Yuefan TONG, Jiayang CUI

    Published 2022-04-01
“…In real-world large-scale deployments of indoor localization, Wi-Fi fingerprinting approaches suffer from device diversity problem which impacts the localization accuracy significantly.A device-independent Wi-Fi fingerprint indoor localization model DeviceTransfer was proposed.Based on the domain adaptation theory of deep learning, the device type of the smartphone was taken as the domain, the task-related and device-independent Wi-Fi data features were extracted through adversarial training, and the learned source domain location information was transferred to the target domain.Pre-training and joint training were employed to improve model training stability and to accelerate convergence. The performance of DeviceTransfer was evaluated using four types of smartphones in two real-world indoor environments: a school building and a shopping mall. The experimental results show that DeviceTransfer effectively extracts device-independent Wi-Fi fingerprint features.Using only one type of phone to collect Wi-Fi fingerprints, online localization using other types still achieves high localization accuracy, thus reducing localization cost significantly.…”

TSL:predicting popularity of Facebook content based on tie strength by Xiaomeng WANG, Binxing FANG, Hongli ZHANG, Xing WANG

    Published 2019-10-01
“…The rapid development of online social networks leads to an explosion of information, however, there are great differences in the popularity of different messages, and accurate prediction is always a great difficulty is the current study.Popularity prediction of online content aims to predict the popularity in the future based on its early diffusion status.Existing models for popularity prediction were mostly based on discovering network features or fitting the equation into a varying time function that the accuracy of current popularity prediction model was not high enough. Therefore, with the help of the weak ties theory in sociology, the concept of tie strength was introduced and a multilinear regression equation was constructed combined with the early popularity.A TSL model to predict the popularity of Facebook’s well-known pages was proposed. The main contribution of this article was to solve the problem and few or no work based on sociology.A high linear correlation between the proportion of faithful fans was existed in Facebook homepage with frequent shares in the early and the future popularity.Compared with other baseline models,an experimental study of Facebook (including 1.54 million shares) illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed TSL model, and the performance is better than the existing similar methods.…”

    Published 2020-01-01
“…For precision positioning requirements in the LTE-A/5G service developed by the 3GPP,the nanosecond precision time synchronization technology based on global navigation satellite system (GNSS) for 5G base station was studied which broke through the current GNSS receiver’s hundred nanosecond timing accuracy.By analyzing the characteristics of neighborhood similarity of GNSS errors and combining the characteristics of time synchronization requirements of 5G base stations,a nanosecond precision time synchronization theory and related receiver algorithms for 5G base stations was proposed which based on the principle of neighborhood similarity of GNSS signals. The specific characteristics of the time synchronization technology under regional and wide-area conditions were studied. The simulation and experimental results show that compared with the current time synchronization accuracy within hundred nanosecond rang of base stations, the proposed method can achieve precision time synchronization within 3 ns between the regional base stations, and support 5G base station meter-level precision location based service(LBS) and other advanced incremental services.…”
