Genetic structure and evolutionary diversity of mating-type (MAT) loci in Hypsizygus marmoreus by Gang Wang, Yuanyuan Wang, Lianfu Chen, Hongbo Wang, Lin Guo, Xuan Zhou, Meijie Dou, Baiyu Wang, Jingxian Lin, Lei Liu, Zhengchao Wang, Youjin Deng, Jisen Zhang

    Published 2021-12-01
“…Intra- and inter-specific phylogenetic analyses of pheromone receptors revealed that the STE3 genes were divided into three groups, and we thus theorize that they diverged before speciation. Comparative analysis of the MAT regions among 73 Basidiomycete species indicated that the diversity of HD and P/R loci in Agaricales and Boletales may contribute to mating compatibility. …”

Re-envisioning Astraea: Myth and Vision in Jeremy Bentham’s “Blackstone Familiarized” by Claire Wrobel

    Published 2024-12-01
“…The role of the goddess, who embodies “universal jurisprudence”, is here to reveal to the audience the real state of English institutions and to introduce the utilitarian principles which would make it possible to reform them. After analysing the processes used to transcribe the vision by drawing on the “visual turn” recently taken in the field of law and literature, the article shows how Bentham’s rewriting leads us to reconsider the ideological functions of myth and seeks to account for the unexpected appearance of another allegorical figure, namely the goddess of fiction.…”

Short-term photovoltaic power prediction combination model considering seasonal characteristic and data window by ZHANG Jing, XIONG Guojiang

    Published 2025-01-01
“…The intermittency and randomness of photovoltaic power present different characteristics due to seasonal variations, so it is important to consider seasonal characteristics to improve the accuracy of photovoltaic power prediction. Therefore, a short-term photovoltaic power prediction combination model considering seasonal characteristic and data window is proposed in the paper. …”

Research on test strategy for randomness based on deep learning by Dongyu CHEN, Hua CHEN, Limin FAN, Yifang FU, Jian WANG

    Published 2023-06-01
“…In order to achieve better test performance, researches on the randomness test strategies based on deep learning were conducted, including the batch average strategy proposed by EUROCRYPT 2021 and the selection strategy for data unit size.By introducing the randomness statistical test model based on deep learning methods, the statistical distribution and test power expression of two test strategies were theoretically derived, and it was pointed out that: (i) the batch average strategy could amplify the prediction accuracy of the model, but it was prone to an increase in the probability of the second type of error in statistics, instead reducing the statistical test power; (ii) the smaller data units of the deep model generally obtained the more powerful statistical tests.Based on the above understanding, a new bit-level deep learning model was proposed for randomness statistical tests, which gained the advantage of prediction with 80 times fewer parameters and 50% samples, compared with the previous work on linear congruent generator (LCG) algorithm, and achieved significant prediction advantages with 10~20 times fewer parameters by extending the model to apply to 5~7 rounds of Speck, compared with the model proposed by Gohr.…”

Trois monnaies en contexte « aqueduc » à Lyon à l’épreuve de la numismatique et de l’archéologie by Christian Cécillon, Catherine Coquidé

    Published 2023-12-01
“…Three coins found in the vicinity of Lyon’s aqueducts have haunted the literature for more than two centuries, mentioned in one text after another as chronological evidence relating to construction or repair work on one or other of the canals, together with more or less complete quotations or embedded information without any source. It therefore seems appropriate to go back to the original documents and to expose them to contemporary numismatic evaluation in order to reassess the relevance of these data. …”
