Unsteady Seepage Analysis of Extra-high Core-wall Rockfill Dam During Impoundment by YANG Huigang, LIU Detan, SHANG Yongxi, WANG Junfeng, XU Liqun, HUANG Zhangxin

    Published 2023-01-01
“…The water level of an extra-high core-wall rockfill dam rises rapidly during the impoundment period. To ensure the seepage stability of key parts such as the core wall, this study determines the calculation conditions according to the actual monitoring data.Based on the unstable saturated-unsaturated seepage theory, the finite element method is applied to calculate the unsteady seepage field of the dam.The calculation results show that the anti-seepage effect of the core wall is good during impoundment. The equipotential lines in the dam body are concentrated on the upstream side surface of the core wall, and the maximum seepage gradient reaches 11.52.The value exceeds the average failure gradient of the core wall in the field test but does not reach the allowable seepage gradient under the protection of the filter layer. Therefore, the seepage stability meets the requirements. The calculation results can provide a reference for the subsequent impoundment of this project and other similar projects.…”

Algorithm based on randomly assigning filters to reduce PAPR in GFDM system by Miao ZHANG, Xianzhong XIE, Lei WU, Weijia LEI

    Published 2016-09-01
“…As an alternative of the fifth generation mobile communication system waveforms, generalized frequency division multiplexing(GFDM)which has more advantages over OFDM has been trusted into the limelight.Nevertheless,GFDM still suffers from a high peak to average power ratio(PAPR).Considering that different filters have their own phase-frequency characteristics,a new algorithm based on randomly assigning filters to reduce PAPR in GFDM(RAF-GFDM)was proposed.According to the feature of GFDM system that the filter structure could be selected flexibly, different filters were assigned to subcarriers randomly to adjust the phase congruency due to signals superimposition.Additionally, this method can suppress PAPR effectively without causing signal distortion.Theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm does not bring additional calculation costs while reducing PAPR and almost has no effect on the bit error rate(BER),and it may provide a higher application value.…”

Multidimensional detection and dynamic defense method for link flooding attack by Yang WANG, Guangming TANG, Cheng LEI, Dong HAN

    Published 2019-08-01
“…Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing link flooding attack defense methods,a multi-dimensional index detection algorithm is proposed, which performs multi-dimensional detection on the abnormal forwarding links through the five-dimensional elements of connection length,low-speed ratio of data packets, uniformity of data packet distance, average low-speed ratio of data packets, and change rate of low-speed ratio of data packets, thus effectively solving the problem of high false alarm rate of the existing detection methods.Furthermore,a controller switch dynamic deployment method based on coloring theory is proposed, which solves the problem of difficult to be actually deployed in the actual environment with limited switch variant types existing in the existing defense mitigation mechanisms.Experimental analysis show the feasibility of the proposed method.…”
