Design and Analysis of the Elastic Torsion Shafting in Split Torque Transmission System of Cylindrical Gear by Pan Lei, Zhu Rupeng, Jin Guanghu, Ren Wei

    Published 2015-01-01
“…According to the design pattern, two analysis models of elastic torsion shafting and split torque transmission system with elastic torsion shafting are established with Romax.A study on characteristic of force transmission and load sharing of elastic torsion shafting is carried out.The modal analysis is also carried out for split torque transmission system with elastic torsion shafting. The study results show that the main flexible shaft is subjected to torque but not influenced by bending moment. The elastic torsion shafting has better characteristic of load sharing than common duplicate gear shaft. The running condition of system with elastic torsion shafting is out of resonance region. The study results are a theoretical guide for engineering design and dynamic analysis of this split-torque transmission system.…”

Design models of secret reconstruction towards rational users by Hai LIU, Youliang TIAN, Ying TANG, Jianbing Ni, Jianfeng MA

    Published 2021-11-01
“…Rational Secret Reconstruction is an intersection between traditional secret reconstruction and game theory, which aims to restrict the selfish behaviors of rational users, making both of them obtain the secret in real applications. However, when directly adopting the existing rational secret reconstruction protocols, it is infeasible to realize the fair secret reconstruction.More seriously, an extreme situation may rise, which is some users regard a fake secret as the real one.The crucial reason is that, due to lack of design models, the protocol designers cannot completely consider their selfish behaviors when rational users participate in secret reconstruction. To solve that problem, through the formalizations of rational users and rational secret reconstruction game, the influences of rational users’ action order and their chosen strategies about the fair secret reconstruction were analyzed, and then, three design models for the different scenarios, including purely user rational scenario, reputation-based scenario and trusted user-based scenario, were proposed respectively.Theoretical analysis demonstrates that, the proposed models can help the designers restrict rational users’ selfishness effectively, thereby guiding the designers to devise the fair rational secret reconstruction protocols.Additionally, under the guidance of the proposed models, a fair rational secret reconstruction protocol was devised, which indicated that the proposed models were usable.…”

Energy Budget on Various Land Use Areas Using Reanalysis Data in Florida by Chi-Han Cheng, Fidelia Nnadi, Yuei-An Liou

    Published 2014-01-01
“…However, traditional methods, including in situ measurements and model-only approaches, have deficiencies in data availability, and we have still not yet fully realized how well the energy budgets presented in reanalysis data sets. Therefore, in this study, North American regional reanalysis (NARR) data set from 1992 to 2002 were employed to investigate the energy budget on various land uses (lake, wetland, agriculture, forest, and urban) at a regional scale in Florida. …”

Quadrupole formulae with cosmological constant: comparison by Denis Dobkowski-Ryłko, Jerzy Lewandowski

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Abstract We consider three different approaches (by Ashtekar, Bonga and Kesavan; Hoque and Virmani; and Dobkowski-Ryłko and Lewandowski) to investigate gravitational radiation produced by time changing matter source in de Sitter spacetime. All of them lead to generalizations of the quadrupole formula, however, due to different gauge conditions and choices of the hypersurfaces, across which the energy flux is computed, it is nontrivial to see that they all coincide, as one would expect from the symplectic theory. …”
