Tailoring International Pronunciation Activities for Hungarian Learners of English
Published 2023-12-01“…While there are a few studies that briefly touch upon the learners’ attitudes towards pronunciation, there is limited data concerning the ways in which pronunciation could be integrated into the Hungarian English as a foreign language (EFL) classroom. Therefore, to narrow down the gap, this paper aims to investigate how international pronunciation activities could be modified when teaching Hungarian learners specifically, and how these activities could be integrated successfully into the classroom. …”

Oxidative stress caused by 3-monochloro-1,2-propanediol provokes intestinal stem cell hyperproliferation and the protective role of quercetin
Published 2025-02-01“…Our findings uncover a mechanism whereby suppression of undesirable ISC hyperproliferation, caused by 3-MCPD-induced oxidative stress, maintains intestinal homeostasis, and provide a theoretical basis for exploiting quercetin, a natural antioxidant, as a dietary antidote against the intestinal hazards posed by environmental toxicants.…”

Low complexity hybrid precoding method in mmWave massive MIMO system
Published 2016-09-01“…A low-complexity hybrid precoding method was proposed to design the hybrid precoding for mmWave massive MIMO system.Firstly,an initial radio frequency(RF)precoding matrix was constructed based on the singular value decomposition. Then an updated RF matrix was constructed by placing the vector which was constructed by the biggest left singular vectors of the residual matrix onto the last column of the initial RF matrix.By multiple iterations, the resultant RF precoding matrix can be obtained and the digital precoding matrix was designed based on the least square criterion.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm greatly outperforms the hybrid precoding method based on orthogonal matching pursuit(OMP)algorithm with much reduced computational complexity.Additionally, the proposed hybrid precoding method has almost the same performance as the full digital precoding method when the number of data stream is relatively less.…”
