Modern Models of Business Social Responsibility: Classification and Comparative Analysis
Published 2019-09-01“…Different aspects of the business social responsibility were examined both by the foreign nanddomestic scientists, but despite many kinds of the research on this issue, today in the modern scientific literature there are no comprehensive studies devoted to the generalization and systematization of a plurality of existing models of the business social responsibility..Objective: a critical analysis of the social responsibility model shaving emerged from the world practice, the development of a single generalized classification, a comparative analysis of the individual models of the business social responsibility, the study of the peculiarities of the functioning of the domestic model of social responsibility, the identification of its weak points and the development of the recommendations for their elimination, taking into account the global practice..Methods (methodology) of research. …”

Integrating multiple “omics” analysis for plant metabolites and their functions
Published 2013-05-01“…With the accumulation of high-throughput sequence information, emerged newly metabolomics database can be used not only to store, manage and analyze metabolomics data, but also to provide the chemical structure, physical and chemical properties and pharmacological properties, spectroscopy, experimental process, as well as to interpret the biological function of the metabolites. This paper described briefly several rather special metabolomics database resources (such as KEGG, METLIN, TOMATOMA, ReSpect, ECOMICS, PRIMe). …”

Soil microbiome transplantation to enhance the drought response of Salvia officinalis L.
Published 2025-03-01“…IntroductionSoil microbiome transplantation is a promising technique for enhancing plant holobiont response to abiotic and biotic stresses. However, the rapid assessment of microbiome-plant functional integration in short-term experiments remains a challenge.MethodsThis study investigates the potential of three evergreen sclerophyll species, Pistacia lentiscus (PL), Rosmarinus officinalis (RO), and Juniperus phoenicea (JP), to serve as a reservoir for microbial communities able to confer enhanced tolerance to drought in Salvia officinalis cultivated under water shortage, by analyzing biomass production, plant phenotype, plant ecophysiological responses, and leaf metabolome.ResultsOur results showed that the inoculation with the three rhizomicrobiomes did not enhance total plant biomass, while it significantly influenced plant architecture, ecophysiology, and metabolic responses. …”

The trend for transplant medicine development: induction of immune tolerance or regulation of immune response?
Published 2022-06-01“…Successful cases of withdrawal of immunosuppressive drugs for medical reasons in kidney and liver transplantation recorded in the literature, as well as the results obtained in the process of modeling such a situation in the experiment, prove that achieving tolerance in organ transplantation is fundamentally possible. The aim of this review is to investigate the ways of immunologic suppression and fundamental mechanisms of immunologic tolerance in the field of transplantation and to review the latest clinical achievements in this respect. The review describes various approaches to the induction of central tolerance in solid organ transplantation implemented in the framework of the original clinical protocols. Special attention is given to a new direction in transplantation medicine – cell technologies providing tolerogenic effect by means of peripheral mechanisms activation, in particular due to activation of suppressor function of regulatory T cells. We draw the attention to the advantages and disadvantages of these two trends. …”
