Analysis of characteristics of symbiotic flora in patients with IgA nephropathy based on literature analysis
Published 2020-01-01“…Objective To analyze the characteristics of oral and intestinal microbiota of IgA nephropathy(IgAN) patients. Methods Literature investigating the characteristics of symbiotic flora in IgAN patients were searched in Pubmed,Web of science,Cochrane Library and CNKI,and the results were systematically summarized and analyzed. Results With limitation of the intergenerational difference of methods for bacterial identification and the incompleteness of literature reports, there were big difference among results of the included studies. The structure of tonsillar flora in patients with IgAN was similar to that in patients with recurrent tonsillitis; the structure of salivary flora in IgAN patients was distinct from that in healthy people; the structure of gingival plaque flora was different among patients with periodontitis with or without IgAN.Compared with the healthy control, the intestinal microbiota abundance in IgAN patients was reduced the flora structure changed. Conclusions The abundance and composition of oral and intestinal microbiota in IgAN patients may be altered, and more specific changes require larger studies using advanced sequencing techniques and studies of bigger sample size are required for further clarification of detailed features of oral and intestinal microbiota in IgAN patients.…”
