Research on High Arch Dam Deformation Monitoring Model with Deep Capturing Related Features in Factor-time Dimensions by XUE Jianghan, ZHANG Pengtao, TIAN Jichen, LU Xiang, CHEN Jiankang, Guo Yinju

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Therefore, the interpretability of DcTransformer model is summarized as follows: (1) the deformation trend and values of the measuring points on the crown beam are large, which can be easily extracted from the periodic characteristics and laws , and the performance of the model has been significantly improved; (2) For the high arch dam under high water level operation for a long time, the measuring points under water level are affected by temperature and water pressure factors, which are the key factors to control the radial deformation of the high arch dam; (3) The closer to the dam abutment, dam foundation and its internal measuring points, only the time effect factor is extracted to the time series change, resulting in no obvious increase in model performance.ConclusionsThe DcTransformer method can give better play to the advantages of the deep learning model in dealing with large data samples in the middle data sets, and it is more in line with the application scenario of dam safety monitoring. …”

Efficacy of Cooling Blankets and Cold Fluid Infusions in Classic Heatstroke Treatment: A Controlled Study in Rats by Chen L, Liu C, Zhang Z, Zhang Y, Feng X

    Published 2025-04-01
“…Early rapid cooling improves organ function and prognosis in classic heatstroke rats. Proper cooling methods are crucial for effective heatstroke management, reducing organ damage, and improving survival rates.Plain language summary:Both cooling blankets and cold intravenous fluids help lower body temperature in heatstroke, but we are still learning how they differently affect the body.In animal studies, cold fluids given through veins worked better than just using cooling blankets - they protected both heart and kidneys from damage and reduced inflammation, even though both methods cooled the body equally fast.Using cold fluids together with cooling blankets cooled rats faster and more effectively, leading to less organ damage and fewer dangerous inflammation reactions.More research is needed to determine the best combination of cooling methods to help classic heatstroke patients recover better. Keywords: heatstroke, cooling blanket, cold fluid infusion, cold water immersion, cooling rate, inflammation cytokine…”
