Surface water and flood-based agricultural systems: Mapping and modelling long-term variability in the Senegal river floodplain
Published 2025-03-01“…Occurrence maps and predictive models for annual flooded and cultivated areas based on upstream flows can support early warning tools, helping to prepare for extreme floods and droughts. These outputs are crucial to assess the impact of future climatic and anthropic changes in the region, including planned dams, on the amplitude of annual floods and their associated environmental benefits.…”

The incidence of outpatient care within 24 months from SARS-CoV-2 infection in the general population: a multicenter population-based cohort study
Published 2025-01-01“…Results There were 27,140 subjects in E-R and 22,876 in Veneto who were included in the analysis. The pooled outputs showed an increase in rates of outpatient visits and diagnostics starting from month 2 after SARS-CoV-2 infection (IRR = 1.68, 95% CI = 1.56–1.81) with a peak at month 4 (IRR = 2.05, 95% CI = 1.95–2.15); the increase continued with reduced intensity up to month 15. …”

Multi-omic biomarker panel in pancreatic cyst fluid and serum predicts patients at a high risk of pancreatic cancer development
Published 2025-01-01“…Appropriate analytical methods are key to ensuring accurate and meaningful outputs in the multi-omic setting. Here, we extensively profile the proteome and transcriptome of patient pancreatic cyst fluid (PCF) (n = 32) and serum (n = 68), before integrating matched omic and biofluid data, to identify biomarkers of pancreatic cancer risk. …”

Analysis for Spatio-temporal Variation Characteristics of Extreme Precipitation in Wanquan River Basin
Published 2021-01-01“…Based on the long-sequence precipitation data of 22 rainfall stations, this paper selects eight extreme precipitation indexes to analyze the temporal evolution and spatial distribution of extreme precipitation in Wanquan River Basin by linear trend method, moving average,MK test and moving t-test.The results show that:①The spatial distribution of the annual mean values of the eight indexes in the north source (except Sihe station) and the middle and lower reaches of the Wanquan River Basin is similar, with relatively small fluctuation;while that in the south source shows great difference, with great fluctuation in the whole.②The extreme precipitation index increases slightly, indicating that the long-term variation trend is still uncertain. The long-term variation trend of the south source, north source and middle and lower reaches is differentiated.③Except for CWD,the seven indexes such as PRCPTOT in the basin have similar interdecadal rules, with obvious interdecadal changes and significant fluctuations after the 21st century. The interdecadal variation law of CWD is obvious, with large fluctuations.④The abrupt year of extreme precipitation index is different, for which the PRCPTOT is similar to Rx1day and R99PTOT,while other indexes are different.…”
