Low complexity hybrid precoding algorithm for massive MIMO based on modified Newton method by Bo HU, Anding WANG, Guiyi WEI

    Published 2023-11-01
“…A phase tracking algorithm was proposed for massivemultiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) systems based on the modified Newton (MN) method, which effectively reduced the high computational complexity in traditional high-performance hybrid precoding schemes. The algorithm optimized the analog precoding matrix from the perspective ofsub-dimensional vector recovery. In each sub-dimension optimization, the phase tracking method was used to transform the recovery of the analog precoding vectors into an unconstrained nonlinear optimization problem, which was then solved using the MN method.Concurrently, this strategy led to a marked reduction in the computational intricacy pertaining to both the computation of correction factors and the inversion of the Hessian matrix within the framework of the MN method. This was achieved through the insightful incorporation of Gerschgorin’s Disk theorem and the Hermitian matrix block-inverse lemma.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has higher spectral efficiency and lower computational complexity than several conventional high-performance hybrid precoding schemes.…”

Mimic defense authentication method for physical access control by Qinglei ZHOU, Shaohuan BAN, Yingjie HAN, Feng FENG

    Published 2020-06-01
“…To address the security problem of the vulnerability of the authentication methods of traditional physical access control systems,a mimic defense authentication method was designed based on the principle of mimic defense technique and its dynamic heterogeneous redundant architecture (DHR),using mobile 2D code as the interface and dynamic password as the core.First, the actuator pool of the authentication server was constructed. Then,a central controller consisting of functional modules such as input distribution agent, selector and voter was used to dynamically schedule heterogeneous redundant actuators from the actuator pool. Finally,a multimode ruling on the heterogeneous redundant actuator output to determine the authentication result was made by the voter. The experimental results show that the proposed authentication method has higher security and reliability compared to the traditional physical access control system authentication method, and at the same time,it can be used in combination with other authentication methods.…”

Software reliability prediction with an improved Elman network model by CHENG Xu-chao1, CHEN Xin-yu1, GUO Ping1

    Published 2011-01-01
“…In order to improve accuracy and dependability of using neural network for software reliability prediction,a multi-objective optimization-based improved Elman recurrent network method(Mop-IElman) was proposed.First,on the basis of the Elman network,a self-delay feedback of the output layer as another context layer was designed.Second, the network architecture and the initial outputs of these two context layers were taken as variables of network configuration setting, and NSGA-II was employed to simultaneously optimize prediction performance and robustness, then the Pareto solution was obtained. After that,by maximizing the sum of prediction performance and robustness, the final network configuration setting was determined. Finally, the proposed method was compared with the feed-forward neural network, the Elman network, both the single-objective and the multi-objective optimization Elman networks with respect to two real software failure data.It demonstrated that the proposed Mop-IElman achieves higher prediction accuracy and de-pendability.…”
