A multi-layer bioinspired design with evolution of shish-kebab structures induced by controlled periodical shear field
Published 2013-04-01“…In this study, we use periodical shear to induce polypropylene to form multi-layer structure, which is usually observed in plants. Two interesting points were found: firstly, the quest of mimicking natural structures was achieved by controlled periodical shear field; secondly, the evolution from nano to shish-kebab-like cylindrite structure was obtained in the multi-layer structure, which can be clarified by nuclei competition model. …”

Coupling coordination between agricultural carbon emission efficiency and food security in China: The spatial-temporal evolution and prediction.
Published 2025-01-01“…The findings indicate positive trends in both ACEE and FS, albeit with significant regional disparities and a notable lag of FS behind ACEE improvement. The evolution of China's CCD from "barely coordinated" towards "primary coordination" is evident, with the northeastern and central regions outperforming their western and eastern counterparts. …”

Geologic and Structural Evolution of the NE Lau Basin, Tonga: Morphotectonic Analysis and Classification of Structures Using Shallow Seismicity
Published 2021-06-01“…Importantly, the Riedel structures identified in this study directly control the development of complex volcanic-compositional provinces, which are characterized by variably-oriented spreading centers, off-axis volcanic ridges, extensive lava flows, and point-source rear-arc volcanoes. This study adds to our understanding of the geologic and structural evolution of modern backarc systems, including the association between subduction-transform motions and the siting and style of seafloor volcanism.…”

Research on the Pattern Evolution of Innovation Output Space in Guangzhou Metropolitan Area Based on Authorized Invention Patent Data
Published 2024-12-01“…The results show that: (1) the evolution of innovation output space generally follows the pattern of "gathering in the core area of the main district of the central city in a metropolitan region, generating innovation output growth points in the secondary cities and forming a number of innovation output cross-border integration areas." (2) The innovation output space of enterprises continues to cluster toward industrial parks and technology parks with clear boundaries, and the extensive construction of parks has driven the decentralized development of innovation output space of enterprises; The innovation output space of scientific research institutions, with strong stability, has always been highly concentrated in the core area of the main city of Guangzhou and has expanded with the construction of university towns within the metropolitan area; The individual innovation output has shifted from "explosive spatial dispersion" to "organized spatial convergence", and the adsorption effect of urban rail transit on individual innovation output is becoming increasingly significant. (3) The three types of innovation outputs always have spatial proximity characteristics, and enterprise innovation is the main driving force for innovation diffusion in the periphery of metropolitan areas. (4) Regional innovation output is influenced by both the innovation environment and innovation inputs, among which government support is the most critical driving force affecting the three types of innovation outputs. …”
