Multiple Positive Solutions for Singular Semipositone Periodic Boundary Value Problems with Derivative Dependence by Huiqin Lu

    Published 2012-01-01
“…By constructing a special cone in C1[0,2π] and the fixed point theorem, this paper investigates second-order singular semipositone periodic boundary value problems with dependence on the first-order derivative and obtains the existence of multiple positive solutions. …”

Expression of Potential Dermal Progenitor Cell Markers in the Tumour and Stroma of Skin Adnexal Malignant and Benign Tumours by Sven R. Quist, Maximilian Eckardt, André Kriesche, Harald P. Gollnick

    Published 2019-01-01
“…There is evidence that reciprocal signalling between the epidermis and the dermis plays an important role in skin development, homeostasis, wound repair, and skin cancer. The origin of skin cancer that derive from skin appendages is still controversial, including basal cell carcinoma and even more of rare tumours such as sebaceous carcinomas and whether those tumours originate from resident tissue stem cells. …”

Montelukast: More than a Cysteinyl Leukotriene Receptor Antagonist? by Gregory R. Tintinger, Charles Feldman, Annette J. Theron, Ronald Anderson

    Published 2010-01-01
“…These novel activities enable montelukast to target eosinophils, monocytes, and, in particular, the corticosteroid-insensitive neutrophil, suggesting that this agent may have a broader spectrum of anti-inflammatory activities than originally thought. If so, montelukast is potentially useful in the chemotherapy of intermittent asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cystic fibrosis, and viral bronchiolitis, which, to a large extent, involve airway epithelial cell/neutrophil interactions. …”

Typical applications and realization of SDN in IP WAN by Yongjun HUANG, Xiaoming LU, Weihua CAO

    Published 2016-03-01
“…Three key points of SDN are decoupling of data plane and control plane, centralized control and open interfaces. Some carriers develop a SDN application system based on RR+ or PCE technology in order to achieve the centralized control function on traditional IP WAN.The architecture and development suggestions of the SDN application system were presented, and some typical functions, such as routing optimizing, traffic balanced scheduling, paths intelligent arrangement and so on,were described.…”

Defense strategy of industrial control worm based on SEIPQR model by Jie PAN, Lan YE, He ZHAO, Xinlei ZHANG

    Published 2022-06-01
“…Computer viruses keep evolving with the development of society and progress of technologies, and they become more complex and hidden. The worm virus is the earliest computer virus, which has evolved to an industrial control worm virus and caused a great impact on the safety of the industrial system.Neither the single network isolation nor the patching immunity is unable to keep up with the spreading of the worm virus. The propagation mode and characteristics of the worm virus in the industrial control system were analyzed.Based on the related works of network isolation and patching, a defense strategy against the worm virus was proposed. This strategy was originated from the fundamental infectious disease model, and then a mathematics model (SEIPQR) was proposed to simulate the trend of worm virus propagation. The model included six situations: Susceptible, Exposed, Infected, Quarantine and Recovered. The state transition diagrams of the model was created, and the calculus equations were obtained from the state transition diagrams.Under the condition that the number of system equipment is fixed, the equations were transformed. The equations were solved by solving the basic regeneration number R0, and six equation expressions of the model ware analyzed when the number of exposed hosts and infected hosts is zero.According to the principle of the Routh-Hurwitz, the system is asymptotically stable when R0<1, and unstable if R0>1.Then the dynamic characteristics of the SEIPQR model under different patching probability, different isolation rate and different infection rate were compared by numerical simulation.Furthermore, the disease-free equilibrium point and endemic equilibrium point of the model were obtained. The simulation results showed that, when the whole system is infected with worm virus, timely patching the susceptible devices and isolating the network can effectively inhibit the spread of industrial control worm virus.…”
