Low-complexity likelihood probability derivation algorithm for non-binary LDPC-coded modulation system
Published 2013-09-01“…The derivation of likelihood probabilities which are sent into the decoder in many LDPC-coded modulation systems is a challenging task especially when high-order modulations are used. This is because likelihood probabilities are usually complicated functions of the channel output and their calculation also requires knowledge of the channel parameters. To this end,a low-complexity likelihood probability derivation algorithm was proposed. Also, the Euclidean distance between the received signal and the constellation points was considered to divide the constellation points into two signal sets.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm provides good trade-offs between performance and complexity, making it a good candidate for the hardware implementation of the front-end in the non-binary LDPC decoders.…”

Establishing rabbit critical-size bone defects to evaluate the bone-regeneration potential of porous calcium phosphate ceramics
Published 2025-01-01“…Furthermore, the bone area within the available space of BCP implants increased significantly from 19.3% ± 7.3% at 12 weeks to 37.7% ± 8.5% at 24 weeks (p = 0.0063), accompanied by significant BCP resorption (14.8% at 12 weeks and 30.2% at 24 weeks). This study offers two rabbit CSDs models for evaluating bone-regeneration strategies (including bone substitution), and the overall data obtained in the current study indicate the possibility of repairing CSDs with CaP ceramics demonstrating improved bone-forming ability given adequate implantation time.…”
