Performance Assessment of Multiple Classifiers Based on Ensemble Feature Selection Scheme for Sentiment Analysis by Monalisa Ghosh, Goutam Sanyal

    Published 2018-01-01
“…In addition, we generate a composite features vector CompUniBi (unigram + bigram), which is sent to the feature selection methods Information Gain (IG), Gini Index (GI), and Chi-square (CHI) to get an optimal feature subset by assigning a score to each of the features. These methods offer a ranking to the features depending on their score; thus a prominent feature vector (CompIG, CompGI, and CompCHI) can be generated easily for classification. …”

Array amplitude-phase and mutual coupling error joint correction method based on sparse Bayesian by Ding WANG, Weigang GAO, Zhidong WU

    Published 2022-09-01
“…In the actual array direction finding system, there are often a variety of errors such as amplitude and phase, mutual coupling, which lead to serious deterioration of array direction finding performance. In order to solve the problem of array direction finding misalignment in the presence of low signal-to-noise ratio, small snapshots and multiple errors, the spatial sparsity of signals were introduced, and Bayesian sparse reconstruction technology was used to solve the passive correction and joint estimation of array signal azimuth in the presence of amplitude-phase and mutual coupling errors. The over-complete model of the received signal with error was constructed, and the posterior probability density function of the received signal was obtained. The EM algorithm was used to iteratively optimize the probability density function to solve the corresponding parameters. At the same time, the CRLB of array error and signal azimuth was derived, and by experimental simulation verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.…”

Solar PV Minigrid Technology: Peak Shaving Analysis in the East African Community Countries by Jeanne Paula Ihirwe, Zibiao Li, Keyuan Sun, Samuel Bimenyimana, Chen Wang, Godwin Norense Osarumwense Asemota, Aphrodis Nduwamungu, Cicilia Kemunto Mesa

    Published 2021-01-01
“…This study identifies that (1) with large critical loads (industrial and commercial), solar PV minigrid can still contribute to affordable electricity through peak shaving, except Tanzania; (2) solar PV minigrid projects are largely dependent on donor financing, require vast financial diversity to get off the ground, and offer consistent service; (3) Governments support in the form of National electrification strategies, policies, and regulation are key ingredients for realizing the electrification of rural populations through minigrids; (4) hybrid minigrids and power demand creation have emerged as an approach that ensures sustainability or profitability for the operating solar minigrid firms. …”
