Rapid and synchronous response of outlet glaciers to ocean warming on the Barents Sea coast, Novaya Zemlya by Rachel Carr, Zoe Murphy, Peter Nienow, Livia Jakob, Noel Gourmelen

    Published 2024-01-01
“…Here we show that Novaya Zemlya outlet glaciers on the Barents Sea coast respond rapidly and consistently to oceanic forcing at annual timescales, likely due to their exposure to Atlantic Water variability. Glaciers on the Kara Sea show more variable response, likely reflecting their reduced exposure to Atlantic Water. …”

Mechanism and Empirical Analysis of the Impact of Industrial Agglomeration on the Green Development of the Dairy Industry by ZHANG Ying, CHEN Min

    Published 2024-12-01
“…It was found that (1) industrial agglomeration significantly promoted the green development of the dairy industry, and this finding still holds after robustness and endogeneity tests, such as replacing the green development metrics, changing the clustering level, performing instrumental variable estimation and using heteroscedasticity-based instrumental variable methods; (2) the mechanism test showed that industrial agglomeration played a positive role in the green development of the dairy industry by improving the level of technological innovation and informatization; (3) group-wise regression results showed that for provinces that had not implemented the “ten-million-ton project” with low levels of good manufacturing practices, industrial agglomeration exerted a more positive effect on the green development of the dairy industry. …”

Allelic bias contributes to heterogeneous phenotypes of NK cell deficiency by Seungmae Seo, Yong-Oon Ahn, Sagar L. Patil, Jacqueline Armetta, Madrikha D. Saturne, Everardo Hegewisch-Solloa, Nicole C. Guilz, Achchhe Patel, Barbara Corneo, Malgorzata Borowiak, Emily M. Mace

    Published 2025-08-01
“…Summary: While monogenic variants in CDC45-MCM-GINS (CMG) replisome proteins cause human natural killer cell deficiencies (NKDs), family members with the same inherited variants often have variable clinical and cellular phenotypes. We investigated two siblings with inherited compound heterozygous GINS4 variants but variable disease expressivity. …”

    Published 2011-11-01
“…The sum-rate maximization problem of the cognitive multiple-input multiple-output multiple access channel (MIMO MAC) under transmit power and interference temperature constraints was addressed.By exploiting the partial dual decomposition technique to relax the interference temperature constraint, the original problem was decomposed into more tractable subproblems. An iterative algorithm,in which the dual variable update and the iterative water-filling computation were performed alternately, was proposed to obtain the optimum transmit covariance matrices that achieved the maximum sum-rate.Finally,simulation results have been presented to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.…”
