Towards a more powerful hydrogen engine by Hassina Ghodbane, Fouad Khaldi, Bahloul Derradji

    Published 2025-02-01
“…The study presents detailed simulations of in-cylinder temperature, heat release rate, and pressure profiles, and examines how these parameters vary with engine speed. Results reveal that peak temperatures and heat release rates increase with engine speed, indicating more intensive combustion at higher speeds. …”

Architecture of the FindFISH Platform - A Service for Fishermen and More by Lidia Dzierzbicka-Glowacka, Michał Wójcik

    Published 2025-05-01
“…Additional challenges encompass escalating operational costs borne by fishermen, the necessity for fishermen to embark on longer and more distant voyages in search of fish, the capture of low-value or limited quantities of fish, the tenuous operation at the precipice of profitability due to escalating costs, the imposition of fishing limits and the concomitant difficulties thereof. …”

Newton–Cotes quadrature formula, 3/8 rule, and Boole’s rule integration of the Current minus the Short-Circuit Current, to obtain the Co-Content function and photovoltaic device parameters with more precision, in the case of constant percentage noise by Victor-Tapio Rangel-Kuoppa

    Published 2024-12-01
“…Abstract In this article, the Newton–Cotes quadrature formula, the 3/8 rule, and the Boole’s rule integration techniques are used to integrate the Current minus the Short-Circuit Current, to obtain a more accurate Co-Content function, and from this one, deduce with more accuracy the photovoltaic device parameters, namely, the Shunt Resistance, the Series Resistance, the Ideality Factor, the Saturation Current, and the Light Current, compared with the usually used trapezoidal integration technique. …”

PARAMETER ESTIMATION AND CONFIDENCE LIMIT CALCUALTION METHOD OF THREE-PARAMETER WEIBULL DISTRIBUTION by ZHANG JianFeng, XU Fang, ZHANG Yan, HUANG XiaoBo, JIA ZhuoHan

    Published 2024-01-01
“…A correlation-regression method was proposed to solve the problem of low accuracy of parameter estimation and confidence limit calculation of the three-parameter Weibull distribution. The method was combined by the correlation coefficient method (Fu method) and the nonlinear regression method which makes full use of the convenience of Fu method and the excellent estimation effect of the nonlinear regression method in estimating the three-parameter Weibull distribution. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the correlation-regression method,Fu method and Method combining maximum likelihood estimation and empirical formulae (referred to as the “MMPDS method”) were applied to the parameter estimation and confidence limit calculation of the data distribution of a certain alloy strength value with different sample sizes, and calculation consequence of different methods was compared and analyzed. Results show that the correlation-regression method has highest parameter estimation and confidence limit calculation accuracy among the above methods. When the sample size is less than 100,its advantage is more significant, and it can accurately calculate the parameters and confidence limits of the Weibull distribution.…”
