Autonomous deployment and energy efficiency optimization strategy of UAV based on deep reinforcement learning by Yi ZHOU, Xiaoyong MA, Fuxiao GAO, Wei LI, Nan CHENG, Ning LU

    Published 2019-06-01
“…Utilizing a UAV to build aerial mobile small cell can provide more flexible and efficient access services for ground terminal users.Constrained by the coverage and limited energy of the UAV,it is necessary to study how to build a fast, efficient and energy-saving air-ground collaborative network. To deal with complex dynamic scenarios, the UAV needs to deploy an optimal coverage position, and meanwhile reduce both path loss and energy consumption in the deployment process.Based on the deep reinforcement learning,a strategy of autonomous UAV deployment and efficiency optimization was proposed. The coverage state set of UAV was established, and the energy efficiency was used as a reward function.Depth neural network and Q-learning were used to guide UAV to make autonomous decision and deploy the optimal position. The simulation results show that the deployment time of the proposed method can be effectively reduced by 60%,while the energy consumption can be reduced by 10%~20%.…”

Analysis of a modified MIMO multi-bounced channel model for narrow street environment by Deng-hong TANG, Jie ZHOU, Gen-fu SHAO, Mei YUAN, Qian-ying FAN

    Published 2017-10-01
“…To establish scattering models that match realistic street transmission scenarios for more efficient M2M mobile communication systems, existing models mainly focus on single-scattering and double-scattering,while for narrow urban street environment,single-scattering assumption is rather restrictive. To overcome this problem,a modified multi-bounced channel model based on EBSBM was provided,in which the concept of equivalent scattering point is assumed. The multi-bounced propagation paths are considered as an one-bounced ellipse scattering path and characteristics of the model were further analyzed.General formulations of several important parameters such as the probability density function (PDF) of the angle-of-departure(AOD),angle-of-arrival (AOA) and Doppler shift were derived, which were applied to the performance of multiple-input-multiple-output(MIMO)system employing a circular array antenna.Doppler frequency distribution was also taken into account. The results show good agreement with the previously models, which validates the rationality of proposed model.…”

Design of nodes importance assessment method for complex network based on neighborhood information by Xing LI, Jie ZHAN, Baoquan REN, Siqi ZHU

    Published 2024-03-01
“…Accurate identification of influential nodes in complex networks is crucial for network management and network security. The local centrality method is concise and easy to use, but ignores the topological relationship between neighboring nodes and cannot provide globally optimal results.A node importance assessment method was proposed to correlate the node edge relationship and topology, which firstly applied the H-index and information entropy to assess the nodes, then combined the structural holes of the nodes with the structural characteristics of the nodes, and took into account the attribute of “bridging” while focusing on the node’s own quality and the amount of information about the neighboring nodes. The algorithm was validated by simulating the propagation process using the SIR model, and the Kendall correlation coefficient, complementary cumulative distribution function and propagation influence were applied to validate the validity and applicability of the method.Comparison of the experimental results on six real network datasets shows that the proposed method is more accurate than the traditional centrality methods in identifying and ordering the key nodes in the network.…”
