In-situ tensile analysis of microstructure evolution in Ni, Ni5W, and Ni9W using EBSD
Published 2025-05-01“…Further analysis indicates that, with increasing deformation, the grain behavior in Ni, Ni5W, and Ni9W samples diverges into two main trends: one trend involves grains rotating towards a low Schmid factor orientation, which effectively resists dislocation slip and results in the formation of specific texture; the other trend maintains a high Schmid factor orientation, aligns with dislocation slip, and leads to texture evolution. In summary, this study enhances the understanding of the tensile deformation in face-centered cubic (FCC) metals, providing a theoretical foundation for optimizing the mechanical properties of metallic materials.…”

Determination of Anisotropic Mechanical Properties for Materials Processed by Laser Powder Bed Fusion
Published 2018-01-01“…Improving the success rate in additive manufacturing and designing highly optimized structures require proper understanding of material behaviour. This study proposes a novel experimental method by which anisotropic mechanical properties of additively manufactured materials can be assessed. …”

Experimental and DEM Validation of Ceramsite’s Influence on Axial Compression Behavior of Adobe Materials
Published 2025-01-01“…To study the influence of ceramsite on the mechanical behavior and deformation characteristics of the Yellow River sediment-based adobe materials, the uniaxial compression particle model was constructed by discrete element software based on the indoor uniaxial compression test, and then the stress–strain characteristics, energy, and crack evolution laws of the Yellow River sediment-based adobe materials were systematically studied under uniaxial compression load after adding ceramsite. …”
