Recent advances and modulation tactics in Ru- and Ir-based electrocatalysts for PEMWE anodes at large current densities by Yu Wang, Haijing Yan, Honggang Fu

    Published 2025-05-01
“…Proton exchange membrane water electrolyzer (PEMWE) technology is regarded as one of the most promising methods for green hydrogen generation. The oxygen evolution reaction (OER) at the anode is the primary bottleneck preventing the industrial-scale application of PEMWEs due to its sluggish kinetics, and it presently relies upon electrocatalysts that use scarce, costly Ru and Ir. …”

EVOLUTIONARY SYNTHESIS BY LEDYARD STEBBINS by V. A. Sokolov

    Published 2014-12-01
“…Stebbins in the construction of experimental background for evolutionary synthesis involving botanical material are described. The history of the development of Stebbins’ views of the role of hybridization and polyploidy in plant evolution is considered, as well as his brilliant insight into the role of whole genome duplication in the expansion of variation, which were proven only after the advent of the genomics approach.…”

Spatial–Temporal Pattern of Urban Land Green Use Efficiency and Its Influencing Factors in Guizhou Province, China, Based on County Units by Zhongchun Xu, Hongqin Chen, Wei Song

    Published 2024-12-01
“…In terms of the numbers, there was a gradual downward trend in the number of high-efficiency cities. (2) Based on the spatial evolution characteristics, there was a positive correlation in the ULGUE among county cities in Guizhou Province, and the high- and low-value areas were comparatively more widely located in the central–east and west sides of Guizhou Province, respectively. (3) Among the factors influencing the level of the ULGUE, the level of economic development, industrial structure upgrading, and environmental regulation mainly played a positive facilitating role, while the material standard of living of the population, the GDP content, the green development level, government financial support, and the population size played a negative inhibiting role. …”

Experimental study on unloading confining pressure deformation and damage failure of multi-source coal-based solid waste cemented backfill by Xiang HE, Longqiang WEI, Ke YANG, Tong ZHANG, Cun ZHANG, Zilong ZHANG, Yanjun CHEN

    Published 2025-05-01
“…The strain change value before the failure of the specimen is less than 6.5% of the failure. (2) In the process of unloading confining pressure, the volume deformation of the filling body specimen changes from compression to expansion, the deformation modulus decreases by 10% of the failure stage, and the Poisson’s ratio breaks through the elastic-plastic material limit of 0.5 when the specimen is destroyed. (3) The confining pressure difference ratio decreases linearly with the initial confining pressure, which indicates that the backfill is more likely to be destroyed under high confining pressure environment, and the evolution of damage factor D is highly synchronized with Poisson’s ratio. (4) The Mogi-Coulomb strength criterion is suitable for the triaxial test of backfill specimens under constant axial compression and unloading confining pressure. …”
