Synthesis, Characterization, and Application of Magnetic Zeolite Nanocomposites: A Review of Current Research and Future Applications by Sabina Vohl, Irena Ban, Janja Stergar, Mojca Slemnik

    Published 2025-06-01
“…Magnetic zeolite nanocomposites (NCs) have emerged as a promising class of hybrid materials that combine the high surface area, porosity, and ion exchange capacity of zeolites with the magnetic properties of nanoparticles (NPs), particularly iron oxide-based nanomaterials. …”

Fundamental Parameters for Central Stars of 103 Infrared Bow Shock Nebulae by Nikhil Patten, Henry A. Kobulnicky, Matthew S. Povich, Angelica S. Whisnant, Sydney Andrews, Alexandra Boone, Srujan Dandu, Naomi Jones, S. Nick Justice, Dylan Hope, Alexander Larsen, Ryan McCrory, Julia Meredith, Maria Renee Meza, Alexandra C. Rosenthal, William Salazar, Alexander R. Sterling, Noshin Yesmin, Daniel A. Dale

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Stellar bow shock nebulae are arcuate shock fronts formed by the interaction of radiation-driven stellar winds and the relative motion of the ambient interstellar material. Stellar bow shock nebulae provide a promising means to measure wind-driven mass loss, independent of other established methods. …”

Microfacies, depositional environment and carbonate association of the Asmari Formation in Tang-e-Gojestan by Yadolah Ezampanah, Mohammad Goodarzi

    Published 2025-03-01
“…IntroductionCenozoic carbonate platform evolution resulted from the interplay of several factors, including local and global climate change, tectonic activity, eustatic sea-level fluctuations, and changes in dominant carbonate-producing organisms (Höntzsch et al. 2013). …”

Research on Stacking Distribution of Steel Plates Input Based on Improved Multi-objective Particle Swarm Optimization by ZHONG Chuanjie, CHENG Wenming, DU Run, GAO Xuchao, ZHANG Lin

    Published 2025-07-01
“…The inventory balance index was established based on the standard deviation of the number of steel plates allocated to each reservoir to fully mobilize and balance material storage resources during operation. These three indices were utilized to evaluate the degree of stack allocation and served as the objective function to establish a multi-objective decision optimization model for the stack allocation problem of steel plates. …”

IsTICômetros: para uma visão e um processo alternativos<p>Isictometrics: toward an alternative vision and process by Michel Menou

    Published 2001-12-01
“…Measurement of intangible goods and phenomena is fraught with material and much more conceptualdifficulties. As information and ICT pervades most aspects of society, the availability of meaningful indicatorsbecomes an ever more vexing problem.Early attempts in the information economy school tried to adjust existing socio-economic measures to the “new”reality by separating primary and secondary information industries and activities from those related to tangiblegoods. …”

Technical challenges and outlook of underground hydrogen storage in depleted oil and gas reservoirs by Xiaoming LUO, Zihan JIA, Hongyang ZHANG

    Published 2023-09-01
“…In particular, the technical challenges and coping strategies for UHS in depleted oil and gas reservoirs were overviewed: (1) For the gas leakage caused by unstable displacement, seepage and diffusion, efforts should be made to control the gas injection rate, optimize the scheme of injection-production and cushion gas arrangement, and study the caprock breakthrough pressure, the surface interface characteristics and the flow and mass transfer mechanism. (2) For the hydrogen-consuming geochemical reaction and microbial catalysis, the strata with highly hydrogen-sensitive minerals, ions and microorganisms should be excluded from UHS potential sites to prevent unacceptable H2 consumption. (3) To cope with the integrity failures of traps and artificial materials, the risk of formation damage and gas leakage should be evaluated considering the macroscopic and microscopic deformation and fracture evolution characteristics of the formation. …”

On the Question of the Social Origins of Early Cossack Communities: Results, Methodology and Prospects of Research by Marina Ryblova

    Published 2024-09-01
“…Addressing the complex and controversial problem of domestic Cossack studies – the determination of the stage affiliation of early Slavic Cossack communities – the author sets himself the task of summing up many years of discussions, identifying the most promising directions for further research, and identifying the associated methodological guidelines. Methods and materials. Many studies of the problem of the stage affiliation of early Cossack communities, carried out by pre-revolutionary, Soviet, and modern Russian Cossack researchers, as well as works on male unions and communities of the Slavic, Caucasian, and Turkic worlds, served as materials for the article. …”
