Improving the sintering performance of specularite bearing mixtures by separated pre-agglomeration-sintering processes by ZHU De-qing, ZHONG Yang, PAN Jian

    Published 2015-08-01
“…For the characteristics of weak ballability and inferior amenability of specularite concentrates, the granulating and sintering performances of imported specularite were investigated by two kinds of separated pre-agglomeration-sintering processes. Compared with the traditional granulation-sintering process, the separated micropelletizing-granulation-sintering process presents competitive results:decreasing the coke level from 4.85% to 4.20%, improving the productivity from 1.44 t·m-2·h-1 to 1.71 t·m-2·h-1, enhancing the tumble index from 57.60% to 63.80%, and cutting the solid fuel rate from 76.46 kg·t-1 to 65.24 kg·t-1. …”

Statistical assessment of the impact of climate change on social and demographic processes (on the example of the Yaroslavl region) by V. V. Zholudeva

    Published 2019-12-01
“…The statistical base of the study was compiled by the data of the Federal State Statistics Service and the territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Yaroslavl Region, as well as GISMETEO data. Processing of the research results was carried out in Microsoft Excel and SPSS.During the study, it was found that in the Yaroslavl region there is an increase in average annual and average monthly air temperatures, as well as a slight increase in precipitation, which mainly occurs due to an increase in rainfall in spring and early summer. The anthropogenic factors that cause climate change, namely the burning of fossil fuels, an increase in industrial production, an increase in the number of vehicles, as well as a change in land use and deforestation, are identified and statistically substantiated. As a result of the study, it was found that changes in climatic parameters have an impact on the economy, agriculture and demographic processes, namely: – climate change has a positive effect on agricultural production. …”
