A two level multi-antenna blind spectrum detection about spatial spectrum by Zhiqiang BAO, Yanrui CUI, Xiao XU

    Published 2018-03-01
“…In order to improve the perceptual performance, the array spatial spectrum search technology was applied to the spectrum sensing field.A blind spectrum detection algorithm based on two stage detection of spatial spectral values was proposed.Firstly, the maximum and minimum values of the spatial spectrum were used as the test statistics to detect the spectrum. Then the mean value of spatial spectrum for the undetected part was used in the second level detection.By using the advantage of the spatial matching filter, the new algorithm achieved higher detection probability under the low SNR and low sampling rate, and the threshold of detection was accurately deduced based on probability theory. The simulation and comparison results show that TDSS algorithm has better detection effects than some existing classical blind spectrum sensing algorithms.…”

Detecting Planting Holes Using Improved YOLO-PH Algorithm with UAV Images by Kaiyuan Long, Shibo Li, Jiangping Long, Hui Lin, Yang Yin

    Published 2025-07-01
“…Ablation experiments demonstrate that compared to baseline models, YOLO-PH exhibits notable improvements of 1.3% in mAP50 and 1.1% in mAP50:95 while simultaneously achieving a reduction of 48.8% in FLOPs and an impressive increase of 26.8 FPS (frames per second) in detection speed. Anomaly detection algorithm based on fractal characteristics of large-scale network traffic by XU Xiao-dong1, ZHU Shi-rui2, SUN Ya-min1

    Published 2009-01-01
“…Based on the fractal structure of the large-scale network traffic aggregation, anomalies were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively from perspective of the global and local scaling exponents.Multi-fractal singular spectrum and Lipschitz regularity distribution were used to analyze the fractal parameters of abnormal flow, trying to identify the relationship between the changes of these parameters and the emergence of anomalies.Experimental results show that the emergence of anomalies has obvious signs on the singular spectrum and Lipschitz regularity distribution.Using this feature, a new multi-fractal-based anomaly detection algorithm and a new detection framework were constructed. On the DARPA/Lincoln laboratory intrusion detection evaluation data set 1999, this algorithm’s detection rate is high at low false alarm rate, which is better than EMERALD.…”

A range spread target detection algorithm based on polarimetric features and SVDD by Qiang LI, Yuanxin YAO, Xiangqi KONG

    Published 2023-10-01
“…Multi-polarization range high resolution radar is an important mean for ground target detection. In the echo formed by it, the target occupies multiple range cells and becomes an extended target. The traditional spread target detection method relies on energy, and the detection performance decreases when the signal-to-clutter ratio decreases.A spread target detection algorithm based on polarization decomposition features was proposed, which improved the detection performance under low signal-to-clutter ratio by using the difference of polarization scattering characteristics between target and clutter.Specifically, 16 kinds of polarization decomposition features were extracted to form feature vectors as detection statistics, and then support vector data description (SVDD) was used to obtain the detection threshold. When training the detection threshold, the polarization decomposition features of clutter were extracted as training data.In order to ensure the false alarm probability, two penalty parameters were introduced into the objective function of SVDD.The experimental results show that the proposed method requires a signal-to-clutter ratio of about 12.6 dB in the case of Gobi background, false alarm probability of 10-4 and detection probability of 90%, which is about 1.7 dB lower than the energy-based methods.…”
