“…Atlikus duomenų analizę išryškėjo 9 pagrindinės grupės patirtinės temos: kai kurie gyvenimo sunkumai, užgulę savižudybės proceso metu, nebuvo patiriami kaip susiję su suicidiškumu; pasikartojantys trauminiai įvykiai suteikė pagrindą formuotis didelio trūkumo jausmams; kompensacinis mechanizmas užpildė didelio trūkumo jausmų išgyvenimą; prasidėjo išsekimas nuo pastangos palaikyti kompensacinį mechanizmą; pagrindinis trigeris tiesiogiai konfrontavo su kompensaciniu mechanizmu; po pagrindinio trigerio išgyvenimo ėjo afekto būsena; afekto būsenos metu disociacija gali padėti izoliuoti psichologinį skausmą; esant afekto būsenos, mintys apie savižudybę patirtos kaip kylančios automatiškai; savižudybė suvokta kaip priemonė sustabdyti kančią.
