Brucella suis ΔmapB outer membrane vesicles as an acellular vaccine against systemic and mucosal B. suis infection
Published 2025-01-01“…Serum antibodies from both OMVs groups reduced B. suis adherence and invasion of lung epithelial cells and enhanced its phagocytosis by macrophages. Upon in vitro antigen stimulation, spleen cells from mice immunized with ΔmapB OMVs secreted higher levels of interleukin-17 and especially gamma interferon compared to cells from mice immunized with wt OMVs, suggesting the induction of a stronger T helper 1 response in the ΔmapB OMVs group. …”

Sécurité aux frontières : Portée et limites de la stratégie algérienne
Published 2016-06-01“…This strategy is guided by three cardinal principles: the non-intervention in the internal affairs of States; the non-intervention of the Algerian armed forces outside the national territory; the endogenous management of regional security issues (i.e. the rejection of any form of external intervention). Despite its contribution to securing the border strip, however, this strategy is still limited for several reasons: the State-centric orientation found whenever dealing with specific issues; the inoperativeness of some cardinal principles in an evolving context characterized by the affirmation of non-state actors; the mutations of the terrorist phenomenon; a highly unstable regional context; a lack of strategic convergence in the region.…”

Towards edge-collaborative, lightweight and privacy-preserving classification framework
Published 2022-01-01“…Aiming at the problems of data leakage of perceptual image and computational inefficiency of privacy-preserving classification framework in edge-side computing environment, a lightweight and privacy-preserving classification framework (PPCF) was proposed to supports encryption feature extraction and classification, and achieve the goal of data transmission and computing security under the collaborative classification process of edge nodes.Firstly, a series of secure computing protocols were designed based on additive secret sharing.Furthermore, two non-collusive edge servers were used to perform secure convolution, secure batch normalization, secure activation, secure pooling and other deep neural network computing layers to realize PPCF.Theoretical and security analysis indicate that PPCF has excellent accuracy and proved to be security.Actual performance evaluation show that PPCF can achieve the same classification accuracy as plaintext environment. At the same time, compared with homomorphic encryption and multi-round iterative calculation schemes, PPCF has obvious advantages in terms of computational cost and communication overhead.…”
