Interpretation of "Clinical Guidelines for Acupotomy Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis" by ZHANG Liangzhi, XIU Zhongbiao, LIN Zehao, LIU Hong, YU Wenying, LIU Jing, LIU Fang, LIU Wenhui, OU Lin

    Published 2024-08-01
“…Acupotomy is one of the effective ways to treat KOA in clinic, which can release the stimulation through multiple ways and targets, relieve the stress concentration points, restore the mechanical balance of the knee and improve the function of patients with KOA. The "Clinical Guidelines for Acupotomy Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis" (referred to as "Guidelines") proposed by the Acupotomology Branch of the China Association of Chinese Medicine for the first time fully standardizes the clinical diagnosis and treatment plan of acupotomy, and provides reliable evidence reference for the clinical decision-making and practice of KOA. …”

Design of hybrid precoding with successive interference cancellation and alternating direction method of multipliers by Xiongwen ZHAO, Yao LIU, Yu ZHANG, Suiyan GENG, Peng QIN, Zhenyu ZHOU

    Published 2021-05-01
“…To solve the problem of large power consumption caused by a large number of phase shifter (PS) in millimeter wave multi-antenna systems, a new type of dynamic connection structure was designed. With the goal of maximizing spectrum efficiency, two hybrid precoding schemes, successive interference cancellation (SIC) and successive interference cancellation-alternating direction multiplier (SIC-ADMM), were proposed. In SIC scheme, the sum-rate problem was decomposed into multiple sub-rate problems of different radio frequency links, the analog part was solved by iteration, and the digital part was solved by a low-dimensional equivalent matrix.Based on SIC scheme, an improved SIC-ADMM scheme was further proposed by studying the multi-variable sub-rate problem to achieve rapid convergence and reduce computational complexity effectively. The simulation results show that the proposed schemes have good spectrum and energy efficiencies by comparison with the existing schemes, and are more suitable for large-scale antenna systems. In addition, when a certain percentage of PS is turned off, the proposed scheme can greatly improve energy efficiency by sacrificing a small amount of spectrum efficiency.…”

Influence of volatiles (H$_{2}$O and CO$_{2}$) on shoshonite phase equilibria by Vetere, Francesco, Namur, Olivier, Holtz, Francois, Almeev, Renat, Donato, Paola, Frondini, Francesco, Cassetta, Michele, Pisello, Alessandro, Perugini, Diego

    Published 2023-07-01
“…This result has important consequences upon the physical properties of the magma because it influences its viscosity and, as a consequence, velocity during its travel to the Earth surface.Assuming that the widths of Vulcanello conduits vary from 0.5 to 1.5 m, estimates of the ascent velocity vary in the range 1.5 ${\times }$ 10$^{-4}$–3.5 ${\times }$ 10$^{-2}$ m${\cdot }$s$^{-1}$ for CO$_{2}$ free systems and from 5.7 ${\times }$ 10$^{-4}$–1.3 ${\times }$ 10$^{-1}$ m${\cdot }$s$^{-1}$ for CO$_{2}$ bearing systems.Since shoshonitic magmas are common not only in the Italian volcanic provinces (Aeolian Arc, Campi Flegrei, Ischia Island, Pontine Islands, Monti Cimini, Monte Amiata, Capraia Island, Radicofani, Roccamonfina) but also in different volcanoes worldwide (Yellowstone, Mariana Arc, Kurile Arc, Tonga Arc, Andean Arc, Kamchatka Arc), we suggest that the new data will be useful to better understand shoshonitic magma behaviour under relevant geological scenarios. …”
