Analysis on related risk factors for cardiocerebral vascular diseases in patients with diabetic kidney disease
Published 2019-01-01“…Objective To investigate the epidemiology and related risk factors for cardiocerebral vascular diseases in patients with diabetic kidney diseases(DKD).Methods A total of 800 patients with DKD hospitalized in Chengyang District People’s Hospital of Qingdao from January 2016 to December 2017 were enrolled in this study.Based on complications of cardiocerebral vascular diseases, the patients were divided into the cardiocerebral vascular disease group(n=558) and group without cardiocerebral vascular diseases(n=242).The general information, including gender, age, body mass, height, systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP),drinking history and smoking history, and laboratory test indicators, including fasting blood glucose(FBG), glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1 C), liver and kidney functions, total cholesterol(TCH), triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), Lipoprotein A(Apoa),parathyroid hormone(PTH), C-reactive protein(CRP), hemoglobin(Hb), white blood cells(WBC), brain natriuretic peptide(BNP), urinary microalbumin/urinary creatinine ratio(UACR) and serum β2-microglobulin(β2-MG)were detected. …”

Spatial Influence Analysis of Traffic Safety in Diverging Areas between Freeway Segments and Off Ramps
Published 2015-01-01“…Data from a geocoded GIS crash database for Colorado Springs metropolitan area was used; the statistically significant factors associated with crash frequency were examined for the spatial influence of freeway diverging segments. Also, the generalized linear models with negative binomial link function were applied to predict the crash frequency for freeway diverging segments and off ramps based on the influential area. …”

Carotid Intima-Media Thickness and Visit-to-Visit HbA1c Variability Predict Progression of Chronic Kidney Disease in Type 2 Diabetic Patients with Preserved Kidney Function
Published 2016-01-01“…Subclinical atherosclerosis and long-term glycemic variability have been reported to predict incident chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the general population. However, these associations have not been investigated in patients with type 2 diabetes with preserved kidney function. …”

Multivariate evaluation method for the detection of pest infestations on plants via VOC analysis using gas chromatography mass spectrometry
Published 2025-07-01“…For this reason, a multivariate evaluation method based on a self-written Python script, using principal component analysis (PCA) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA), was developed and tested for functionality using a dataset, which has been evaluated manually and has identified five specific markers (2,4-dimethyl-1-heptene, 3-carene, $$\alpha$$ -longipinene, cyclosativene, and copaene) for Anoplophora glabripennis (ALB) infestation on Acer trees. …”

The Effectiveness of Computerized Cognitive Training in Patients With Poststroke Cognitive Impairment: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Published 2025-06-01“…ResultsA total of 19 trials were included in the meta-analysis (n=875 participants). The findings provided moderate- to high-quality evidence indicating that CCT significantly enhances general cognitive function (15 trials, standardized mean difference [SMD]= 0.46, 95% CI 0.21-0.71; P<.001, I2=60%), attention (11 trials, SMD=–0.45, 95% CI –0.64 to –0.25, P<.001, I2=0%), executive function (6 trials, SMD=0.39, 95% CI 0.12-0.67; P=.01, I2=0%), and quality of life of PSCI patients (9 trials, SMD=0.34, 95% CI 0.15-0.53; P<.001, I2=6%). …”

Calculation of Derivatives in the Lp Spaces where 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞
Published 2020-03-01“…It is well known in functional analysis that construction of \(k\)-order derivative in Sobolev space \(W_p^k\) can be performed by spreading the \(k\)-multiple differentiation operator from the space \(C^k.\) At the same time there is a definition of \((k,p)\)-differentiability of a function at an individual point based on the corresponding order of infinitesimal difference between the function and the approximating algebraic polynomial \(k\)-th degree in the neighborhood of this point on the norm of the space \(L_p\). …”
