    Published 2019-05-01
“…One of the negative consequences of this situation is replacement of meaningful learning of mathematics with “coaching” of school students and university students for formal test performance. To address these challenges, culturological educational models, which form common cultural ideas of modern mathematics according to the principle of a cultural conformity, have to be the predominant in education, but not competency-based attitudes focused on narrow specialisation. …”

Motion state-based data delivery scheme of delay tolerant mobile sensor networks by YANG Kui-wu1, ZHENG Kang-feng1, YANG Yi-xian1, GUO Shi-ze1, WU Bin1

    Published 2010-01-01
“…A motion state-based data delivery scheme(MSD) was proposed for delay tolerant mobile sensor network.By using the broadcasting signal of base station on the frequency of f1,sensor nodes could compute their own motion stated and delivery probabilities which provided the bases for messages transmitting between nodes on the frequency of f2.In order to improved network performance,MSD employed the message survival time and prior forwarding mechanism of own messages to manage the message queue.Simulation results show that the proposed MSD data delivery scheme has a higher message delivery ratio with lower transmission cost and less data delivery delay than other DTMSN(delay tolerant mobile sensor networks) data delivering approaches.…”

Study on Scour Prevention Test of Three-Bucket Suction Piles for Offshore Wind Farms in Shapa,Yangjiang by LIU Bo, MA Zhaorong, LIU Xiaojian, GUO Huiqun

    Published 2023-01-01
“…By establishing a normal physical model, the scour prevention of the seabed near three-bucket suction piles for offshore wind farms in Shapa,Yangjiang was studied. In view of the scour problem of the suction bucket foundation, protective measures such as riprap, sandbags, and bionic grass were put forward. The results show that when no protection scheme is implemented, the maximum scour depth around the pile in 50 years is 2.34 m;when the protection scheme is implemented, the scour depth around the bucket is significantly reduced and dropped by 44% when sandbags are regularly arranged. The scour depth is reduced by 32% when sandbags are randomly arranged and by 74% when riprap protection is adopted. In addition, the bionic grass not only reduces the scour depth around the pile but also promotes the suspended sand siltation nearby, and the scour depth around the bucket is reduced by about 90% compared with that before protection.…”
