Adult Diapause in Coleoptera
Published 2012-01-01“…Finally attempts are made at generalisations from the papers reviewed, and hypotheses on diapause evolution are inferred. A polyphenic character of diapause is a prominent feature in C. septempunctata and L. decemlineata, but has been found also in other Coleoptera and in insects generally and often generates voltinism heterogeneity within populations.…”

Leveraging multimodal large language model for multimodal sequential recommendation
Published 2025-08-01“…Despite significant advances in existing recommendation approaches based on large language models, they still exhibit notable limitations in multimodal feature recognition and dynamic preference modeling, particularly in handling sequential data effectively and most of them predominantly rely on unimodal user-item interaction information, failing to adequately explore the cross-modal preference differences and the dynamic evolution of user interests within multimodal interaction sequences. …”

Active Contour Models Based on Block Similarity for Multiple Objects Segmentation
Published 2019-01-01“…For a sequence of image with multiple objects, a model for multiple objects extraction is constructed by combining sparse decomposition and ACGS; second, a block low-rank constraint is proposed to constrain the similarity of these evolving contours in every block; finally, segmentation results are obtained through iterative evolutions. Experimental results show the proposed method could segment images with multiple targets, and it improves the robust segmentation performance of sequence of image when the features of multiobjects are missing or misleading.…”
