Effects of Film Forming Temperature on Corrosion Resistance of Lanthanum Salt Conversion Film on Magnesium Alloys by XU Man - zu, ZOU Zhong - li

    Published 2021-04-01
“…Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive x - ray spectrometer (EDS) and X - ray diffraction (XRD) were used to observe and analyze the surface morphology and composition of the film, the corrosion resistance of the coating was studied by drop test and electrochemical method. Results showed that lanthanum salt conversion film was formed on the surface of magnesium alloy, and there were cracks with different sizes on the surface of the samples under the different film forming temperatures, among which the surface cracks of lanthanum salt conversion film obtained at 20 ℃ were the least; EDS results showed that the lanthanum salt conversion film on the surface of magnesium alloy was mainly composed of La and O elements, XRD results showed that lanthanum hydroxide was the main component of the conversion film; The results of drop experiment showed that the lanthanum salt conversion film obtained at 20 ℃ had the best corrosion resistance, and the electrochemical test results were consistent with the drop experiment results. …”

Dual defense: Combining preemptive exclusion of members and knowledge distillation to mitigate membership inference attacks by Jun Niu, Peng Liu, Chunhui Huang, Yangming Zhang, Moxuan Zeng, Kuo Shen, Yangzhong Wang, Suyu An, Yulong Shen, Xiaohong Jiang, Jianfeng Ma, He Wang, Gaofei Wu, Anmin Fu, Chunjie Cao, Xiaoyan Zhu, Yuqing Zhang

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Unfortunately, using either of these two defenses alone, the defense effect can still offers an unsatisfactory trade-off between membership privacy and utility.Given that the defense method that directly combines these two defenses is still very limited (e.g., the test accuracy of the target model is decreased by about 40% (in our experiments)), in this work, we propose a dual defense (DD) method that includes the preemptive exclusion of high-risk member samples module and the knowledge distillation module, which thwarts the access of the resulting models to the private training data twice to mitigate MI attacks. …”
