Genome-wide identification and function analysis of the sucrose phosphate synthase MdSPS gene family in apple by Li-hua ZHANG, Ling-cheng ZHU, Yu XU, Long LÜ, Xing-guo LI, Wen-hui LI, Wan-da LIU, Feng-wang MA, Ming-jun LI, De-guo HAN

Published 2023-07-01
“…The Ka/Ks ratio of pairwise MdSPS genes indicated that the members of this family have undergone strong purifying selection during domestication. Furthermore, three SPS gene subfamilies were classified based on phylogenetic relationships, and old gene duplications and significantly divergent evolutionary rates were observed among the SPS gene subfamilies. …”

Morphodynamics and Successional Characteristics of Bowl Blowout in the Late Stage of Coastal Foredune by Shaoyun Zhang, Yuxiang Dong, Wei Tian, Shuyi Fu, Lin Yang

Published 2025-03-01
“…The results revealed that the following: (1) During the entire survey period, the bowl blowout is characterized by deepening erosion of the lateral walls and accretion in the deflation basin, with the maximum erosion depth on the east lateral wall reaching up to 3.99 m and the maximum accumulation height occurring in the front half of the deflation basin. (2) The wind direction and the morphology of the bowl blowout significantly impact the airflow characteristics within the blowout, and the airflow distribution within the blowout further affects the development of the blowout morphology. (3) The bowl blowout is in the late stage of its life cycle.…”

Improving Automatic Coronary Stenosis Classification Using a Hybrid Metaheuristic with Diversity Control by Miguel-Angel Gil-Rios, Ivan Cruz-Aceves, Arturo Hernandez-Aguirre, Martha-Alicia Hernandez-Gonzalez, Sergio-Eduardo Solorio-Meza

Published 2024-10-01
“…Background/Objectives: Unlike traditional evolutionary computing techniques, which only consider the best individuals in a population, the proposed strategy also considers the worst individuals under certain conditions. …”

Thinned Eisenstein Fractal Antenna Array Using Multi-Objective Optimization for Wideband Performance by Luis E. Cepeda , Leopoldo A. Garza , Marco A. Panduro , Alberto Reyna , Manuel A. Zuñiga

Published 2025-05-01
“…This paper introduces a novel framework for designing wideband antenna arrays using self-similar Eisenstein fractal geometries combined with multi-objective evolutionary optimization techniques. The approach employs multi-objective binary differential evolution (MO-BDE) for array thinning and multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MO-PSO) for optimizing amplitude excitations. …”
