The Role of Information Communication Technology to Teaching and Learning Geography in Secondary Schools: A Case Study of Kabale Municipality Kabale District. by Akampurira, Ruth

    Published 2024
“…The study results on possible strategies to challenges affecting the use of ICT in enhancing teaching and learning of geography in secondary schools of Kabale Municipality were; building a better relationship between teachers and students to increase the learners motivation and engagement, use of projectors to help learners have clear information, enhancing technical support for teachers, use a balanced data approach to enhance students learning, ensuring use of lesson planning and systematic monitoring and evaluation of ICT use in schools. The study recommended that there is a need for the selected secondary schools to invest more in ICT as means of not only solving accessibility problem but also improving on the presence of the facilities especially computers in the classroom and computer labs and more infrastructures such as printers, computers, projectors should be put in place for more practice and utilization so that teaching and learning of geography can be effective.…”
