Analysis of Flow Maldistribution of Parallel Pipeline in Filtration Separation Area of China⁃Russia East Route Natural Gas Pipeline Station by Ligang SUN, Shaoshan LIU, Qianbing WANG, Yifan GUO, Zhi LI, Miao ZHANG, Shiping LU, Yi CHEN

    Published 2025-04-01
“…The filtration and separation area of a station on the China⁃Russia East Route is set as parallel pipelines, and the uneven distribution of branch flow may occur due to the differences in internal pressure and pipeline layout, which affects the filtration efficiency and the overall work efficiency. In order to avoid pipeline bias, the flow direction of the filtration and separation area is studied based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD).Results show that pressure distribution, turbulent flow distribution, frictional resistance loss along the system, fluid inertia and other factors affect the branch pipe flow distribution.Among 11 parallel pipeline configurations, the axial inlet and radial outlet configuration (Type 3) with inlets and outlets on the same side exhibits the least flow maldistribution overall.Under normal working conditions, flow maldistribution decreases with increasing manifold diameter and branch pipe spacing within the calculation range.Fault conditions, such as branch pipe blockages, significantly exacerbate flow maldistribution in the system. It is concluded that the flow distribution rule and the main factors affecting the flow distribution are obtained, which is helpful to guide the design and construction of gas transmission station.…”

EDG-Net: Edge-Enhanced Dynamic Graph Convolutional Network for Remote Sensing Scene Classification of Mining-Disturbed Land by Xianju Li, Pan Kong, Weitao Chen, Wenxi He, Jian Feng, Jiangyuan Wang

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Subsequently, a novel model of edge-enhanced dynamic graph convolutional network (GCN) (EDG-Net) was proposed to learn the discriminative features for classification of mining land with irregular edges, different sizes, a relatively small proportion, and sparse spatial distribution. (1) Edge-enhanced multiscale attention module: it is designed to capture key multiscale features and edge details using parallel dilated convolutions with attention fusion and edge enhancement, which facilitates the identification of objects with irregular edges and different sizes. (2) Downsampling fusion module: it integrates the features obtained through spatially split learning and max-pooling to overcome the information loss issue of small objects. (3) Patch-based dynamic GCN: the input images were split into several patches as nodes, and a graph was constructed and dynamically updated by connecting the nearest neighbors. …”
