Integrated collaborative filtering recommendation in social cyber-physical systems
Published 2017-12-01“…In this work, we present an integrated collaborative filtering recommendation approach that combines item ratings, user ratings, and social trust for making better recommendations. In contrast to previous collaborative filtering recommendation works, integrated collaborative filtering recommendation approach takes full advantage of the correlation between data and takes into consideration the similarity between items, the similarity between users and two kinds of trust among users to select nearest neighbors of both users and items providing the most valuable information for recommendation. …”

The Photocatalytic Activity and Compact Layer Characteristics of TiO2 Films Prepared Using Radio Frequency Magnetron Sputtering
Published 2014-01-01“…The XRD patterns of the TiO2 films, for sol-gel with spin coating of porous TiO2/TiO2 compact/ITO/glass, show a good crystalline structure. In contrast, without the TiO2 compact layer (only porous TiO2), the peak intensity of the anatase (101) plane in the XRD patterns for the TiO2 film has a lower value, which demonstrates inferior crystalline quality. …”

Price response to consumer attention during major animal epidemics in developing markets: perspectives from the influence of information and emotion contagion
Published 2025-02-01“…The betweenness centrality of the Weibo repost network also has a negative moderating effect, indicating that “opinion leaders” on social media can mitigate the impact of consumer attention on price fluctuations through selective information dissemination. In contrast, the closeness centrality of the emotion transmission network has a positive moderating effect, highlighting the amplifying effect of rapid emotion propagation on market reactions. …”

Association between purpose in life and healthcare use among women and men in Germany: cross-sectional analysis of the nationally representative German Socio-Economic Panel (GSOEP)...
Published 2022-06-01“…Adjusting for various potential confounders, regressions revealed that higher purpose in life was associated with an increased frequency of outpatient physician visits in the past 3 months among women (IRR 1.16, 95% CI:1.03 to 1.30), but not men (IRR 0.96, 95% CI 0.87 to 1.07). In contrast, higher purpose in life was associated with in an increased likelihood of hospitalisation among men (OR 1.40, 95% CI 1.02 to 1.93), but not women (OR 1.03, 95% CI 0.79 to 1.34).Conclusion Even after adjusting for various potential confounders, there was still a gender-specific association between higher purpose in life and increased HCU. …”

Ultrastructure of the molar enamel in representatives of the genus Ellobius (Rodentia) in the Pleistocene and Holocene of Ukraine
Published 2024-12-01“…It was shown that in the lineage of the subgenus Ellobius and in the formation of the species E. talpinus the second type of radial enamel predominated, whereas weakly expressed lamellar enamel of various levels of evolutionary development is present only on the tips of conids (primitive and progressive enamel). In contrast, in the lineage of the subgenus Bramus (= Afganomys) and the formation of the species E. fuscocapillus monotypic (according to the density of IPM and PE) first type radial enamel predominates and lamellar enamel is absent. …”

Development and research of the structure of a digital frequency meter for an instantaneous frequency measurement system
Published 2024-06-01“…The article proposes a new method for measuring frequency based on a one-bit ADC. In contrast to the known method of measuring frequency using a delay line, the developed structure of a meter that implements the proposed method makes it possible to get rid of delay lines for measuring frequency in a wide frequency range and to sharply reduce the weight and size parameters of the entire meter with an integrated implementation. …”

Coexistence of Virulence Factors and Efflux Pump Genes in Clinical Isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa: Analysis of Biofilm-Forming Strains from Iran
Published 2021-01-01“…In this study, we suggested that the presence of a multidrug resistance efflux pump, MexEF-OprN, significantly reduced P. aeruginosa pathogenicity. In contrast, the presence of the MexAB-OprM and MexCD-OprJ pumps did not affect virulence.…”

Comparative experimental validation of microwave hyperspectral atmospheric soundings in clear-sky conditions
Published 2025-01-01“…Hyperspectral radiance measurements afford a useful means to retrieve these thermodynamic variable fields by harnessing the rich information contained in the electromagnetic wave spectrum of the atmospheric radiation. In contrast to infrared radiometry, microwave radiometry can penetrate clouds, making it a valuable tool for all-sky thermodynamic retrievals. …”

The role of size in PEGylated liposomal doxorubicin biodistribution and anti‐tumour activity
Published 2022-09-01“…The biodistribution results showed that Caelyx® and 100 nm liposomal formulations had the most doxorubicin (Dox) accumulation in the tumour tissue and, as a result, considerably suppressed tumour growth compared with 200 and 400 nm PLDs. In contrast, larger nanoparticles (200 and 400 nm formulations) had more accumulation in the liver and spleen. …”
