User-centric energy efficiency fairness in backscatter-assisted wireless powered communication network by Yinghui YE, Liqin SHI, Guangyue LU

    Published 2020-07-01
“…In order to address the unfair user-centric energy efficiency (EE) problem caused by channel difference in the backscatter-assisted wireless powered communication network,a resource allocation scheme was proposed.Firstly,a mixed integer nonconvex fractional programming problem was formulated to maximize the minimum user-centric EE,subject to the quality of service and energy-causality constraints.Based on the generalized fractional programming theory, the original problem was transformed into a mixed integer nonconvex subtraction problem. With the aid of the slack variable, the proof by contradiction, the auxiliary variable and the mixed integer nonconvex subtraction problem were further transformed into an equivalent convex problem. Finally,an iterative algorithm was proposed to obtain the optimal solutions.Computer simulations validated the quick convergence of the proposed iterative algorithm, and that the developed resource allocation scheme efficiently guarantees the fairness among users in terms of EE.…”

High-Quality Short-Range Radar Imaging with Coprime Sampling by Yaping Wang, Tianjiao Zeng, Xu Zhan, Xiangdong Ma, Mou Wang, Jun Shi, Shunjun Wei, Xiaoling Zhang

    Published 2024-12-01
“…Our approach is built upon three core perspectives: (1) physical sampling: we adopt a coprime pattern to form an extended sampling aperture with a structured layout, enabling effective utilization of limited channels and minimizing aperture loss; (2) signal measurement: we utilize the second-order statistics of the measured data to generate additional equivalent measurements, thus enhancing the system’s capability to capture diverse spatial information; and (3) scene reconstruction: we establish a novel forward measurement model, linking these equivalent measurements to the scene, and then formulate a sparsity-regularized optimization problem. We design a background-texture-preserving, target-enhanced resolving method based on the first-order proximal gradient algorithm to achieve robust and high-quality imaging results. …”

    基于遗传-二次规划法的封闭差动人字齿轮传动系统混合优化设计 by 朱增宝, 朱如鹏, 尹敏

    Published 2014-01-01
“…Using the positive transmission way of modified gear,a mathematical optimization model of the encased differential herringbone gear transmission system is set up by taking the lightest gear weight of this transmission system as the optimization objective.Taking the advantage of its optimization function of genetic algorithm and quadratic programming algorithm in MATLAB toolbox, the compound optimization design is carried out.The research results show that the problem of which the initial value of quadratic programming is difficult to determine is solved well by using the results of the genetic algorithm as the initial value of quadratic programming optimization.Compared with the genetic algorithm or quadratic programming, the optimization design variables of this compound optimization are obviously improved and the gear weight of the system is markedly reduced. The compound optimization method provides a simple and practical solution to obtain precise global optimal solution of the large-scale nonlinear constraint optimization.…”
