    “…The words were mainly selected from the books "Azərbaycan dilinin dialektoloji lüğəti" [The Dialetological Dictionary of Azerbaijani] (2007), "Qərbi Azərbaycan şivələri lüğəti" [Western Azerbaijani Dialects Dictionary] (2008), were compared with the dictionaries of other literary Turkic languages in the Oghuz group ("Türkçe Sözlük" [The Turkish Dictionary], 1998; "Tükmence-Türkçe Sözlük" [The Turkmen-Turkish Dictionary], 1995; "Gagauz Türkçesinin Sözlüğü" [The Dictionary of the Gagauz Turkish], 1991) in addition to the Azerbaijani ones and the common words were detected. The adjectives that have lost their functionality in the literary Azerbaijani, but are preserved in various dialects were compared with Kashghari's dictionary, samples of the oral folklore ("Dede Korkut's Book", "Oguzname"), the language of the classics (Imadaddin Nasimi) and the samples extracted from those sources are mentioned in the article. …”
