On cofactored verification of EdDSA signatures by Adrian Cinal, Oliwer Sobolewski

    Published 2025-06-01
“…EdDSA is a Schnorr signature scheme instantiated on top of Edwards curves, which admit fast, constant-time arithmetic, but suffer from the presence of a non-trivial cofactor, where the order of the group of points is a large prime times a small integer (4 or 8). Current standards permit for points present in the signature (commitment and/or public key) to have a component in the small-order subgroup of the group of points. …”

Stability optimization of dynamic migration algorithm for Post-Copy of virtual machine based on KVM by Shuangxi CHEN, Ruoyan ZHAO, Hui LIU, Chunming WU, Wei RUAN

    Published 2021-07-01
“…The dynamic migration technology of virtual machine provides a strong support for the resource scheduling of virtualization system. As one of the two core algorithms of virtual machine dynamic migration, Post-Copy algorithm has been a hot issue for scholars at home and abroad for its advantages of stable migration time and short migration downtime. The fault tolerance mechanism of virtual machine, the connection between the transfer mode of memory page and the page missing error during the migration process, and the source code of QEMU-KVM platform were studied.A fault tolerant method based on transaction synchronization was proposed to improve the stability of the Post-Copy migration algorithm. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can ensure the fast repair of deep end virtual machine failure, target virtual machine failure and network fault during the migration process, and solve the stability problem at a small cost. The method proposed effectively improves the stability of the Post-Copy migration algorithm, and provides reference for the future optimization research direction.…”

Privacy cloud storage scheme based on fog computing by Jiyuan ZHOU, Hao LUO, Lei QIU, Tian WANG

    Published 2019-03-01
“…As one of the core applications in cloud computing field, cloud storage attracts a large number of users depending on its powerful storage capacity. However,in this storage schema, users’ data is stored completely in cloud server. In other word, users’ right of control on data is lost and users are facing privacy leakage risk.Traditional privacy protection scheme is usually based on encryption technology, but the attack from the inside of cloud server can’t be resisted effectively by these kinds of methods.Once the password gets compromised, users’ data will be stolen. In order to solve this problem,a three-level secure cloud storage scheme based on fog computing was proposed and a Hash-Solomon code algorithm was designed.A small part of data was stored in local machine and fog server, which can take full advantage of cloud storage and protect the privacy of data.Through the theoretical safety analysis and experimental test, the feasibility of our scheme is proved, and it is really a powerful supplement to existing cloud storage scheme.…”
