Research on the association between community environmental perception and residents’ intention to relocation–a case study of Guangzhou by Jie Gu, Chunxia Zhang, Xiaoxue Li, Xiao Chen

    Published 2025-06-01
“…We employed factor analysis to capture participants’ community environmental perception and used binary logistic regression to analyze the association between independent and dependent variables.ResultsThe results show that: (1) There is a significant association between age, household registration, and participants’ residential relocation intention; (2) Community environmental perception can be summarized into three aspects: environmental disorder perception, community attachment, and satisfaction, all of which are significantly associated with participants’ residential relocation intention; and (3) There is a positive association between perception of a disorderly environment and residents’ intention to relocation, and a negative association between community attachment and satisfaction and residents’ intention to relocation.ConclusionThis research is highly significant for enhancing our understanding of factors influencing people’s residential relocation intention and for guiding community construction.…”

Association of serum homocysteine levels with acute kidney injury in patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy by XIE Yi-yi, LI Qiu-lin, PAN Ling, LIAO Yun-hua

    Published 2018-01-01
“…Objective To investigate the association of serum homocysteine levels with acute kidney injury(AKI)in patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy(IMN).Methods We retrospectively analyzed 120 participants diagnosed as IMN between March 2011 and October 2015 in the Department of Nephrology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University. The patients were divided into high Hcy group(Hcy≥10μmol/L)and normal control group(Hcy<10μmol/L)according to serum Hcy levels. The clinical baseline data of the two groups were collected, such as gender, age, blood pressure, height, weight, blood pressure, renal function, blood lipids, complements C3 and C4,CRP,serum ferritin, serum albumin and 24-h urinary protein. The differences in the clinical baseline data and the incidence of AKI between two groups were analyzed. The related factors of Hcy were analyzed. The clinico-pathological factors of AKI in patients with IMN were analyzed by Logistic regression. Results The proportion of high Hcy in IMN patients was 65.5%,and the proportion of AKI in IMN patients was 26.7%.Moreover,the incidence of AKI in the high Hcy group was significantly higher than in the normal control group(32.9% vs.14.6%,P = 0.046).The Hcy level was positively correlated with SCr level, but negatively with eGFR.Binary logistic regression analysis showed that high Hcy(OR:3.455,95% CI:1.052-11.342,P=0.041)and high blood pressure(OR:4.279,95% CI:1.586-11.544,P=0.004)were independent risk factors for AKI.Conclusions High Hcy may increase the risk of AKI in patients with IMN and controlling the level of Hcy may play an important role in the prevention and treatment of AKI in IMN patients.…”

Analysis of the incidence and related factors of insulin resistance in patients with non-diabetic nephropathy by 卢永新, 杨毕, 孙阳, 李永艳, 王乙安, 王瑾瑞, 童宗武

    Published 2021-01-01
“…Objective To explore the incidence of insulin resistance(IR) and examine the IR-related factors in patients with non-diabetic chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods From March 2017 to March 2018,non-diabetic CKD hospitalized patients fulfilling the inclusion criteria were analyzed. And the relevant biochemical parameters were recorded. Results The incidence of IR in CKD1-5 phase was 24.53%,29.76%,28.40%,26.42% and 24.42% respectively and no inter-group statistical difference existed in IR incidence(P>0.05).Correlation analysis indicated that body mass index(BMI),calcium and triglyceride were positively correlated with IR;hemoglobin, iron and total cholesterol were negatively correlated with HOMA-IR.Other parameters were not correlated with IR.Further binary Logistic regression revealed that normal triglyceride(OR=0.360、P=0.001),normal BMI(OR=0.272,P=0.004) and normal hemoglobin level(OR=0.301,P=0.001) were protective factors of IR.Metabolic acidosis(OR=6.264,P=0.025) and 25(OH)2D3 deficiency(P=0.004,OR=3.032) were risk factors of IR.Conclusion IR occurs in all stages of CKD.However, no statistical difference exists in the incidence of IR in all stages. No significant difference in IR exists among hemodialysis, abdominal dialysis, non-dialysis and different age groups.Normal triglyceride, normal BMI and normal hemoglobin level are protective factors for IR.And metabolic acidosis and 25(OH)2D3deficiency are risk factors for IR.…”
